Set me free - Episode 36

 

Michelle:

 In a moment of panic, I do the unthinkable and seal william's lips to mine. William gasp and the sound creates a warm sensation in my stomach. I'd just wanted to distract him from staring into my eyes without my glasses but I want more.

 Mind you, this is my first kiss so I'm a bit stuck on what to do next so I just wiggle my tongue slowly against Williams closed lips. I hear him mutter something unintelligible and I'm spurred to do more . My tongue slowly push pass his lips into his mouth and I feel like a crackle of electricity shoots down my body. I think William feels it too because he suddenly takes over the kiss. His firm but soft tongue push mine back into my mouth and the sensation from it rubbing the roof of my mouth make me moan in pure adulterated lust. I've never felt like this in my life! I want more. I grab the collars of his shirt and pull him harder to my body. He takes my signal and soon one of his hands pull my leg up to wrap around his waist. I pull the second one up too and anchor myself to him. He leaves my mouth briefly to drop feathery kisses down my neck as he moves us to sit on his table, like a weigh nothing.

"Michelle." He groans as I push my hands into his shirt and brush my knuckles against his stomach. He's hard as granite.

"More..." I start to pull his top off when the laptop on the table starting ringing

. We both jump apart in fright. I quickly turn away from him, blushing beet red. My glasses are still on the floor.

"You should pick that." I say quietly without making eye contact. I'm planning to use the distraction of the call to pick up my glasses.

 I see william's lips set in a firm line.

"Umm I can't." William mutter.

"Why? Don't worry about me, I'll just wait for you to finish." There's silence and I turn to a little to study him. He looks like he's been caught doing something. Wait, he doesn't want to answer when I'm present because it's another woman! My brows snap up at this realisation. The laptop stops ringing only to start again and I get off the chair, angrily adjusting my skirt. When did it go so far up my thigh! My eyes spy the laptop to see who's calling. My baby girl. Ofcourse. 

"You can talk to your girlfriend or whoever, now. I'm out of here." I spit without looking up at William. I just flee out of the room without picking my glasses up. I mildly remember to pretend to feel around to pretend blindness but I'm shaking with anger and don't spend much time before I'm out of the room and bolting to my room.

 I push my door open only to find Rory pacing the room.

William:

"Okay baby. You stay healthy for daddy okay?" I say while my mind is still reeling from minutes ago.

"Sure daddy. I'm a strong girl." She boasts and I smile. I'm happy to see her okay.

"Now tell daddy bye bye sweetie. He seems like he has something else to do." Mom says and I grimace.

"You have somewhere else to be, daddy?" Aurora asks and I shake my head, giving mom the stink eye.

"But you keep looking back at that door behind you." aurora points out and I wince. Put it together, William.

"Are you okay, son? You look worried."

"yea, I'm fine. I guess I'm just tired. Aurora, come kiss daddy goodbye." I say to my daughter. Her small mouth comes up on the laptop screen as she give me a noisy kiss. My mind flashes back to kissing Michelle and I feel my temperature rise again. Jeez, I'm acting like a teenage boy. But the girl sure can kiss.

"Bye, dad." my mind comes back to my daughter waving at me and I berate my mind for being elsewhere right now. This is Aurora time. No woman can come between that.

"You should go settle what's worrying you, son. Before you go mad. You keep muttering to yourself. You are confusing your daughter." Mom says.

"Don't worry, dad. We'll talk later. Spongebob is showing anyways. Bye" Aurora says before running out the door. I don't bother correct her English. Let her have her fun.

"She's going to be alright right?"

"Yea, she's a strong kid." mom assures me..

"And son?"

"yea?"

"You know it's okay to live right? Dawn would have wanted that." I don't get to finish my statement before the screen goes blank. Trust mother to say what she has to say. I pull the laptop close and close my tired eyes for a few seconds. All I see is the image of Michelle and I. It's okay to live. Dawn would have wanted that, mom had said but how would she know what Dawn would want? I scrub my eyes tiredly. Nothing can ever make me forget Dawn. No one. The hurt look on Michelle's face when she stormed out earlier torments me. She probably thinks It was a girlfriend or something. Do I need to explain myself to her? Sure, we kissed and it was good. Okay, more than good but so what? Nothing can happen with us. I only need aurora and my mother to be the women in my life. Dawn's around inside the only part of my heart that needs love.

 Funny you didn't think of Dawn, while you were shoving your tongue into her mouth. Christ! I rub my eyes some more. I've never been this confused before. It's been two days and I'm this affected by Michelle.

 Let her think what she likes, William. Don't forget you want to bring down her father. She would hate you after that. Better not to start what you can't finish.

 With my resolve somewhat hardened, I pull over the laptop and search for prices of listening devices. I got to put one on Michelle's father.

I finally find one that fits my purpose and put it on my wishlist.

. Once I get paid for the week, I'll buy it. The sooner I'm out of here. The better for me. My eyes catch Michelle's glasses lying on the floor and I wonder if I should take it to her. I crouch down to pick it off the floor and put it on. It's not as dark looking out of it as it is from the outside.

"I should take it to her and also check up on her. It's my job afterall." I say to myself as I take the glasses off and push it into my pocket. My stomach growls at this moment and I remember why Michelle came down here to begin with. She wanted breakfast. I should just take her out for breakfast. The money her father left for housekeeping should be enough to cover that.

 The house seems quiet as I walk down to the other side of the house to Michelle’s room.

“Michelle, we should get breakfast.” I say as I twist her door’s handle open only to find Rory holding her.
