Epilogue
Yahweh has people He trust in. People with muscles of Faith. Those are they who when they are passed through trials praise Him Who was, Who Is and Who is to come.

Grace sat opposite me. The same eletcric smile her father had, adorning her face which was now covered with my make up.
She grinned mischeviously. I was having a hard time choosing between her and Alicia who was the most mischevious.
"Anything you want to say for yourself Hazel Grace?" I asked promoting an apology from her.
She shook her head.
"No..?"
"Just that i love you both."
"We love you too honey." Philip said emerging from the other room . He roughled her hair then kissed my cheek while settling beside me.
"But that does not exempt you from the mess you did. Look at you face honey."
He held a mirror infront of her.
"Those cost mummy alot and you are still too young to be using that."
Philip paused
"Papa i know what i did is wrong...please forgive me. It wont happen again."
Philip spread out his big arms and Hazel Grace went crushing in.
"I love you Papa."
"I love you too monkey."

When we met again
A year earlier,
I sat on my favourite spot in Eden park. I always came here for some head space

. It held fond memories. The Lord had worked on me and had given me healing after my grief. He had made me. He hade made me whole again. I now understood that it was necessary for everything to happen as it had happened. Some answers i would not get here.
I sat there listening to the sound from the water fountain and old tune playing in my heart.
Amazing grace how sweet that sound,
That saved a wretch like me,
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind but now i see.
He came and settle beside me. Philip. On that day we talked and everyday after that. Same time, same spot. I told him my story from my inception. And he did the same. We poured out all there was to know about ourselves for 6 months. No stone was left upon another. No stone was left unturned, everyday for six months.
At the beginning of the seventh month he came. On this day he looked different.
On this day our conversation was different.
He did all the talking.
"He was more than a friend to me. He was a brother, David. When he died it crushed me. I took the job to Germany because i needed a form of distraction. I have never known a human being so perfect as David. So true. I just couldn't handle it."
He paused.
"For six months we have sat in this same spot going over our lives bit by bit.

. We have laughed joked and also drawn life lessons from segments of our lives. Turning each and every page. Nothing is a secret between us. I left Germany 7 months ago to come back home not because my contract expired but because i designed. I wanted to be with my family. My true family. You and Grace. In six months we have talked about everything in our lives except for one thing."
He paused again.
"Except for one thing. I love you Daniella."
When i reached home, Rachael sat on the front pouch. Grace must have been asleep. I sat down beside her and let her hold me in her motherly warmth.
"Did he propose?" Asked she.
I nodded.
"Good." Said she.

Nice write up dear, but pls i have a question...b4 David died he told Daniella that she would meet the right one who would take care of her and Grace in 3 years time, but from what i read Philip came back to their lives a year and 4 months after David's death, am i right or wrong?
Not really. Philip stayed for over two years in Germany then came back and took seven months before coming to meet Daniella...after that they stayed 6 months before he proposed.
This story got me in tears...super interesting
