Anthony was not surprised at Dora’s reactions; despite everything, he smiled in tears, while giving a vote of thanks to those present, at the end of which everyone left for their respective homes.

. Anthony on his part, left with his friends to the hotel they lodged.

Anthony lay all night on his pillow weeping and wondering where his relationship with Dora was heading to . If Dora could embarrass him in the public as she did now, when they were not yet married, what will happen when they get married? No I can’t continue like this, I have tolerated her enough, this relationship has to end, he thought. Anthony was so disappointed that he woke up the next morning and could not wait for, the dawn of the day; he packed his luggage and returned back to Tanzania.
Dora waited for Anthony to call and apologize to her as he was accustomed to, but didn’t receive a call or message from him, then; she had to also return back to Tanzania too. She decided neither to call nor text him either, but to bear ill will against him, knowing that Anthony will return to her sooner or later.

. He tried forcing himself to, but found out that he was hurting himself the more, because he was not used to it and that made him love and cherish her a great deal. He never knew that Dora and John were having an ongoing affair. Anthony felt so uneasy with himself, to the extent that he couldn’t concentrate each time Dora’s name was mentioned. It reminded him, of the love he once shared with her and the good moments they had together. This nervousness brought back the feelings he had for her, he decided to let go of all the grudges he had been nursing, thus sending her a letter, in quest of forgiveness and reunion.
Dora still felt much for Anthony; she received his letter, perused it but couldn’t reply the letter, because she was overwhelmed with John’s expensive gifts to her. This she didn’t want Anthony to find out. She rather decided to toy with his feelings.
