Dora was so angry, that she didn’t get what she requested and expected. She withdrew her hand from Anthony’s and yelled at him, “What is that? Is that supposed to be a joke or what? Is this what I requested from you? Do I look that cheap that you would buy me a corolla 2013 model car for my birthday gift, rather than the latest 2017 model I requested? After telling the whole world how much you love and cherish me, oh, now I see how much you really love and cherish me, she said as she threw the car key at Anthony and walked out.
Her friends ran after her and tried to stop and calm her down, telling her that the way she reacted to Anthony in public was not fair. “Come on, the whole world is watching this, for Christ sake, you should have accepted the car from him with excited mood, even though you are not happy.
Instead of acknowledging her gaffe by making amend in asking Anthony’s forgiveness which her friends pleaded with her to do, she rather turned deaf ears to their plea . Me? Beg Anthony?
