NINETEEN YEARS AGO.....

They were seated on the couch, laughing and giggling at the comedy show that was being showcased on the TV when one of their maids came to them... "Ma'am, dinner is ready.. Shall we serve it now?" She asks. "Yes Joy, serve it" Mrs Arthur answers and leans back into her husband who's attention was still on the comedy show.... "You know love, I think we should relocate. . If Chief Benson finds out that you have an evidence that incriminates him and will make him lose the elections for good, it won't be good" she breaks the silence and he sighs turning to face her.. "I know... That's why I didn't keep the evidence here at home.. We will hand it over to the authorities first thing tomorrow". "If the evidence isn't here then why did you tell me it's..." She trails off as she touches the necklace around her neck... "Don't get me wrong love, that necklace is the key to the evidence.. When the time is right, you will know. Ermm enough of such bad talks. Let's go have dinner" he says getting up. "Okay sure.. Let me call the kids" she climbs the stairs and heads towards the children's rooms.

"Erica, where are Lucy and Elvis?" Mr Arthur asks his eldest daughter as he scoops a spoonful of rice into his mouth... "They went out" she answers

. "To look for bottle covers again" Michael, their second born chips in. "Those kids will be the death of me" "Mom we can go look for them... I've finished with my food" Erica offers. "Me too!!" Michael adds pushing his empty plate aside.. "You two just want to go and play. And..." "Cummon love, let them go" Mr Arthur interrupts his wife... She rolls her eyes. "Okay... But make sure you get back before we lock the gate" "Okay mom" they answer in unison and rush out.....

THIRTY MINUTES LATER..

Mrs Arthur was pacing anxiously to and fro in the living room.... "Relax love, they will be here soon.. You are making me dizzy" her husband tells her... "How can I relax, Ben...our children are out there by this time of the night.. I feel really restless" she rubs her temple... He comes to her and pats her back... Soon they heard a knock on the door... "Joy, go get the door!!". "Yes ma'am...... Jesus!!!!!" They hear Joy scream..... "Joy who's at the door? Joy? Joy are you deaf? Arrhh dammit!!" Mr Arthur growls and walks to the door, his wife behind him... "Hello there Mr and Mrs Arthur" the man standing near the door greets..... "You?? What do you want?" "Its not good manners to let your visitors stand at the door when there are lots of comfortable chairs inside.." He smirks and pushes them aside, two bulky dark men follows him in..... "Let the party begin!!"

"My God, Elvis there you are.. And you too Lucy... We have been searching for you" Erica places her hands on both sides of her waist taking in deep breaths... "We are coming... Lucy let's go" Elvis gather's the bottle covers into his pocket and grabs his sisters hands as they walk away...

The four children walk into the house and then suddenly hear gunshots.... "Did you hear that?" Erica asks her siblings and they all nod... "Let's go and check" Michael chips in and runs into the house with Erica following... "No don't go.. Wait!!" Elvis screams but they were long gone.. He turns to Lucy "Stay here... Don't come till I call you" he orders and runs to stand behind the window unaware of Lucy's presence behind him.....

"Mom we heard a noise!!" Erica barges into the room and stops when she sees their two maids lying in a pool of their own blood on the floor with a hole in their heads..... "Oh hello kids.. Come join the party" "No Benson please leave my kids out of this.. Please!!" Mr Arthur pleads but he let's out a humorless laugh and then frowns, pointing the gun to Erica's head.. "I will not repeat myself Benjamin Arthur, where is the video?!!" "I don't know what you are talking about".. "Oh quit the pretence, I know there's a video in your possession.. Without much ado, hand it over" "I have no idea about what you are talking about" he insists. Benson frowns and walks over to where they sat and pulls his wife up forcefully by the hair...... "Let my wife go you moron!!" Mr Arthur screams and tries to get up when one of Benson's men rushes forward and kicks him in the stomach, sending him tumbling down...

. "Don't touch my father!!" Twelve year old Michael runs towards the man and begins to hit him with all his might... "You little devil get your hands off me" the man growls but he keeps hitting... "Shut the boy up Stone, shut him up!!" Benson shouts.... Stone pulls out his gun to threaten the boy but he continued ranting... "Go away!!! Leave us alone!!" Michael kept shouting.. "Stop it son please! He will hurt you!" Mrs Arthur cries out. "You little devil I said shut up... Shut up!! Shut the f*ck up!!!!" Stone screams and pulls the trigger, releasing the bullet into the boy's head... Micheal dropped to the floor, dead, blood seeping out from in between his eyes where the bullet had ripped through. Erica and Mrs Arthur scream their lungs out at the gory sight.
