****** Adjusting his suit whiles staring at his reflection, his wife walks up to him.. "Love, you got a call" she says handing him the phone. "Thanks Catherine.. I will see you later in the evening" he pecks her forehead, picks up his briefcase and heads out.. "What does this fool want now?" He mutters and stares at his screen for a few seconds and then finally answers it. "What do you want?" He snaps . "Sir I have an info that may interest you" he says from the other end of the line. "Spill it". "I was cashing out some money to a few customers at my workplace when a young man and a woman walked in... They....". "Cut the crap about your work and go straight to the point.!". "Okay chief.. Ermm they seemed to be arguing with the receptionist and then I heard the man mention Benjamin Arthur" "You must be out of your mind Tyrone!! Benjamin and his family died more than a decade ago!". "Yes sir but this man was quite young and he claimed he was his son... He was talking about having access to something in the bank". "No no no... There must be a mix up" chief Benson mutters scratching his head. "Listen carefully Tyrone. I don't care how you do it but find out who they are.

Tyrone nods and hangs up. ********* Emerald stood in front of the huge building watching the inscription written in bold letters and then back to the piece of paper in her hand... It read "KATHY'S SHIPPING COMPANY". "This must be the place" she mutters, adjusting her yellow jacket and goes ahead to push the glass door open.. "Good morning miss. Can I help you?" An elegantly dressed young lady walks up to her as soon as she steps into the building... "Err yes. I'm here to see the owner of this company" she answers. "Sure ma'am. Follow me". She followed quietly glancing at the large chandeliers hanging on the roof and beautiful interior decorations.... "Here ma'am" the lady says drawing her attention to the elevator... She stepped inside and the elevator took them up stopping on the third floor. They walked to the corridor and stopped in front of the first office. "Give me a minute" the lady tells her and knocks on the door.. "Come in" the faint voice answered from inside... Emerald watched as the lady disappeared into the office and came out a minute later, motioning for her to enter... "Good morning" she greets as soon as she closes the door... The man sitting behind the desk raised his head and stared at her as a smile broke across his face, his eyes roaming her entire body and glistening... She knew that look in his eyes so well... It was filled with nothing but lust... "Good morning... To behold such a beautiful sight so early in the morning is rare.." He replies motioning for her to sit. "Thank you" she says ignoring his comments.. "Umm... I was hired to investigate a fraud that took place in your company during the shipping of some goods a month ago and I want your permission to interrogate your workers and have a look at the CCTV footage". "Hmmm so you are a private investigator? And you want to find out the real culprits? But the culprit has been caught and is on trial at court" He asks resting his chin on his hands.. "Yes sir but we can't be sure until we have solid proof". "You can go ahead beautiful". She frowns "Thank you" she gets up and picks up her handbag. Walking out, she could feel his eyes on her but she keeps her steps steady till she walks out, releasing the breath she had been holding..... "Christ!!" She mutters rubbing her chest... Why did this man give her the chills.. She didn't know him from Adam but something about him made her uncomfortable.. It was so unsettling.. "Maybe I'm thinking too much" she mutters and walks back into the elevator...

********** FOUR HOURS LATER..

"Sir.. Mr Benson the...." "How many times have I told you not to address me by that name huh? Are you dumb? My name is Darren Adams.... Just that... Don't you ever address me by that cursed name else a termination letter is what will follow.. Understood??!!!" Darren yells at his secretary... "Okay sir.. I'm s..sorry" she stammers. "Did you come here to apologise?" He growls. "N..no. Sir. Miss Arthur is here to see you". He sighed running his finger through his silky hair...

. "Let her in" ******** "Good afternoon" Emerald greets as she strolls in, shutting the door behind her... He ignores her. "What brings you here?". "You seem to be forgetting something Mr Adams.. You contracted me to investigate your clients case and you are asking me what brings me here? Seriously? How ungentlemanly!!". He frowns and opens his mouth to speak when a fair lady barges into the office dressed in a white tank top and short tattered jeans long enough to cover a quarter of her thighs... She walked towards Darren with a smile plastered on her lips and throws her arms around him,kissing him... Emerald frowns as she eyes the lady who just practically threw herself at Darren.. "Hey baby" the lady says.. Baby?!!! What the hell!!! Emerald frowns at them... TO BE CONTINUED...
