Bimpe paced around the sitting room like a worried old woman. She had not left inside of her house to the outside for days, and no spirits has haunted ever since. Her phone rung and she sauntered to the sofa where she kept it. She picked it up, and it read Shade on the screen. She hissed and ignored the call . It rang for about sixth times and she ignored all.

"I guess she is still angry with me. I annoyed her the last time I was in her house," she said and looked up to them.

"What about her contact address? We will go to her house," Ese said.

"Yes," Tola's husband gestured. Shade called the address while Ese typed it with her phone.

"What about a drink? Let me offer your husband something at least. He has never stepped foot inside my club before," Tola said and turned to Ese.

"Thank you," he rejected. "Arghh!" Shade exclaimed. He laughed, "next time, please. We are late now." He spared her a hug and they walked out of the club.

They asked for directions from passersby while they drove down to Bimpe's house. They got to the gate and honked

. They honked countless of times and nobody answered.

"Are you sure here is the place?" Tola's husband said. They all alighted and walked towards the gate. "It's the right address that's written on the wall. I guess we are at the right place or maybe Shade made a mistake with the address. But wait..." Tola said.

She moved closer to the gate and hit it about three times but nobody answered. She peeped through the gate and saw a little girl playing in the compound, while a woman sat beside the wall with her head bent down.

"I think I'm seeing people here. Why are they are not answering us," she said and turned to her husband.

"Okay, wait," her husband said and walked to the gate, he peeped through, "but nobody is inside the compound," he said.

"Really?" She said and peeped through. "Oh, I can't see them again."

"Can we leave please, maybe it's a wrong place. I'm getting exhausted.

"Wait," Tola said and banged the door once more.

"Who is that?" They heard a noise from inside. They waited till the owner of the voice walked to the gate and unbolted it.

"Hello," Bimpe said. Tola experienced the déjà vu again..

"Hello Bimpe," she replied, and others followed by greeting her.

"Shade sent you all to apologise on her behalf abi?" She quipped in rhetorically and sneered at Ese.

"Can we come in," Tola said. She hesitated before she allowed them in.

"We have been knocking since. Only you live in this wide compound alone?" Tola's husband said.

"With her husband, I think," Ese butted in. Bimpe gave her a sneered look again.

"You look lean, I hope all is well," Tola said and touched her body. She had already opened the sitting room door and they walked in.

"I am mourning my husband.

. He died a week ago. Its been hectic days," she said, while tears dropped down from her eyes as she sat on the sofa. They all sat on the opposite sofa facing Bimpe. They watched her narrate how her life has been since her husband died.

"There is light at the end of every tunnel. All will be fine. Be strong and take God above all things," Ese said in some comforting words. She nodded in an agreement.

"What about your children?" Ese asked. Tola and her husband gave her a sharp look indicating she was being too forward with questions. She brushed them off with a stare.

"She is in a boarding school. I was to get her from school today but since you all are being a company which I always crave for, I'd go there tomorrow."

"No o! We won't take lot of your time. You can get your daughter from school today," Tola said.

"Don't worry," Bimpe said and wavered them, "so what brought you here?"

Tola looked into her eyes for several minutes and blurted, "do you remember me?" The question sounded rhetorically to Bimpe but, tears welled up in Tola's eyes immediately.
