She Did It - Episode 24

 

On his way to Bimpe's apartment, Demilade was fantasizing how he will finally marry Bimpe, and abscond with all her wealths after they are done eliminating their enemies. 

"I'm going to mess up with this girl and abscond with everything she has", Demilade bragged as he hit his chest. Within minutes, Demilade arrived Bimpe's apartment . He knocked, and Bimpe opened the door. He entered.

"Wawu!!!!!", he screamed as he saw Sheila's lifeless body on the floor.

"What happened?", Demilade asked with eyes wide open.

"As you can see, that's what is lying on the floor", Bimpe said as tears streamed down through her eyes.

"Why did you kill her? And what should we do now?", Demilade asked.

"Get her body off here to wipe off any evidence", Bimpe said.

"That's so little, my lady. No evidence would be seen or found anywhere. Not like the one you ladies did with Rowland's body", Demilade said as he laughed jokingly.

"I have a friend that deals in human parts and I will be giving him this body for some token", Demilade assured her, as he made a thumb up sign.

"But, that's not all. There is a detective somewhere that is on this case", Bimpe said angrily.

"After I wasted the other one's life? Another one took up the case? These people don't know me", Demilade said angrily

. "Do you know the person?", Demilade asked.

"Yes, I do, a lady", Bimpe said.

He shook his head, "that must be Ms Bolanle and she is a powerful detective. I must gun her down sooner", he assured. He tucked the dead body into a big sack, while Bimpe cleaned up the apartment. He used an extra bag to cover up the body, and drove to the herbalist that deal in human parts. The herbalist lived in a secluded part of the city; more like a village. He had to deal with potholes until he got there. They negotiated and he agreed quickly to a price the herbalist called first. He drove with Sheila's car and phone. He disposed the phone into a river. After he had sold the body, he went to a dealer who deals with stolen car, to sell off the car too.

Meanwhile, Bimpe was in the sitting room, seating on the sofa and shaking her legs vigorously waiting for Demilade to return back. She stands and walk up and down the sitting room, and sits again. She stood again, and was about to move, her phone started ringing. She picked it up and stared, it was Tola. She answered.

"Hello, why are you calling me?", she yelled.

"I'm at Sheila's house after I'd tried her number several times to no avail", Tola said in a calm voice.

"What's my own business? Stop disturbing me, I'm not too well with job problems", Bimpe shouted again.

"Why are you shouting at me? You better respect yourself", Tola shouted and hung the call.

"Hello!!!!", Bimpe shouted when she noticed she had hung. She started ranting, "it's like this girl is mad. She will be put in her place, if she tries any rubbish".

After he had sold the car, he diverted to Ms Bolanle apartment. 

"Good day", he said and smiled at the gateman. He smiled back. The gateman hadn't seen a well dressed man like that who came to look for his madam smiled at him like that before.

"How are you? You look happy", Demilade said again as he shone his white tooth.

"You came to look for madam?. You can go in to see her", the gateman said. He didn't wait to confirm from Ms Bolanle or Maidservant whether his Madam was expecting a visitor. Demilade entered and made a huge sneer. First hurdle completed. He knocked at the door, the maidservant opened.

"Good day", she said.

"Good day, I'm looking for Ms Bolanle", Demilade said and smiled.

"Let me tell her, I'm coming", she said.

"I thought the gateman confirms before he let one enter the apartment", he replied.

"He couldn't have called", the maidservant said.

"He did", Demilade said again. 

"My Madam actually told me she isn't expecting any visitor. She could have informed if there was a latest development", the maidservant said. 

"What a disrespectful slaved fool, you are", Demilade said with a loud voice. The noise attracted Bolanle from her office, before she could enter the sitting room, she shouted "what's with all the noise?".

As she took few more steps, who she saw fitted the serial killer description.

"Demilade!!!!!. Who allowed him in?", she shouted. Demilade pulled out a gun.

"Not here for much talk", he said and corked his gun, then shot the maidservant. She fell, and blood dripped from the gash flowing like a river. The gateman was coming in to check the Maidservant because he was told she would bring his food and she hadn't. He was at the window, when she was shot, he ran back to his boy's squatter to get his gun.

"Please, don't kill me", Ms Bolanle begged. Demilade corked the gun again and shot her. She fell on the floor and died. The gateman entered the sitting room immediately, before Demilade could turn, the gateman shot him and he died. He quickly called police.

Soon, the news circulated all the social media, media houses etc and Bimpe heard and read it. She felt no remorse.

. Tola and Bimpe were never friends after. The next year, Tola got married. She still didn't know the whereabouts of her friend Sheila; whether dead or alive, but she was assured she will be back one day.

At forty five, Bimpe married a sixty year old man. They gave birth to a girl who was their only child.
