On the ground, were conspicuous drops of blood. Sheila shared the apartment with two other married tenants. Tola called for the attention of Bimpe and Sheila. They came close and saw the blood. Sheila quickly ran inside her room, got a mop and bucket with water which they used to wipe off every trace of blood.

"You really saved us", Bimpe said. Tola turned away her face, and wasn't interested and ready in the compliment . She felt they shouldn't have been in that mess in the first place.

They all walked into the room. Tola sat on the sofa with her hand on her forehead as usual, she wondered why Sheila brought all these to herself. Sheila sat on the dining chair adjacent to her sitting room where three sofas laid; Tola was sitting on one while Bimpe stood with her back laying on the wall. After some minutes of silence.

"Hey, girls. I have something to say", Bimpe said.

"Say right away", Tola said, raising her hand in affirmation, indicating for her to go on, we are all ears.

"Sheila is down mentally. And I think we should take her to a hotel to stay for two weeks for her to recuperate", Bimpe said.

"Why!", Tola asked.

"She is emotionally down, and can't confront Rowland's parent for now when she is approached for their son's whereabouts", Bimpe said.

"Oh, this is a nice idea", Tola said.

"I didn't study Law for fancy and work as a legal personnel for my multinational company", Bimpe bragged.

"Whatever", Tola said. Tola entered Sheila's kitchen as she prepared food which they ate

. White rice, fried egg stew with peppered gizzard. She served it in threes' with a chilled five alive juice, as she poured it one after the other in a shiny glass tumblers.

"Food is ready", Tola said as Bimpe stood from the sofa she sat on. Sheila was coming out from the bathroom after she took an hour having her bath. She had towel around her waist.

"You can have your breakfast with the towel tied around you", Bimpe said. Sheila looked at the wall, staring at a hanging wall clock, the short hand was at 8am while the long was at 15minutes. She came to the dining table, moved the chair backward a bit and sat. Bimpe and Tola were almost finishing their food and Sheila was barely at the third spoon.

"Eat and take a rest, we will sleep over with you for tonight" Bimpe said.

"I am sorry. I have a talk show tonight which I will be deliberating on with my fellow presenters on TV", Tola said. She worked for a multinational TV station in the country which was in alliance with a South African company.

Before it was dusk, Tola left, leaving Bimpe with Sheila. Bimpe started chatting with Sheila, so she would forget all that happened. They laughed and chatted away.

Tiwa Savage's song started playing. They both gazed to know where it was coming from. It was from the dining table, as Sheila's phone was ringing.

"It's my phone", Sheila said as she made attempt to stand and get it.

"Don't worry, I will get it", Bimpe said, and dashed to the dining table.

"It reads, 'my world's mum'", Bimpe said. Sheila froze immediately and almost fell on the floor.

"Who is that? This one you seem shaky", Bimpe said. The phone ringing had stopped before Bimpe reached where Sheila was.

"It's Rowland's mother", Sheila said.

"Pick the call, when she calls back. It's time to clear your name.

. Be strong.", Bimpe said. The phone rang again. Bimpe handed it to Sheila.

"Good morning, Ma", Sheila said.

"Good morning", a more younger voice said. It was Dominique, Rowland's younger sister.

"Wait, my mother wants to speak with you", Dominique said.

"Come, mum! She is on the line", Sheila heard the voice on the phone.

"Good morning, my daughter", Mrs Walter said.

"Good morning, Ma", Sheila replied.

"I don't know about the whereabout of my son, and his phone had been switched off since yesterday", Mrs Walter said.

"I had been calling his number since and he hasn't been picking. I had been worried and sad since. He said he was coming to see me and I haven't seen him yet", Sheila said.

"This girl wants to implicate herself", Bimpe said in the background with a low voice. Bimpe wanted to shut her up, but Sheila cautioned her.

"Yes, I know, I called his friend Demilade and he told me that you were the one he came to visit", Mrs Walter said.

"Okay, Ma", Sheila said. Mrs Walter hung the phone. Sheila dropped the phone on the chair ecstatic.

"What did you just say on the phone?", Bimpe shouted.

"Girl, calm down. It's a good tactic", Sheila said. Bimpe hadn't seen Sheila ever boisterous like that since she killed Rowland.

"Eh, what?", Bimpe asked.
