She Did It - Episode 4
"If I hadn't told them he was coming, I might be a suspect", Sheila said. Bimpe connected the dots and concurred to Sheila's assertion.
"You are getting smarter", Bimpe said. They both laughed. Sheila closed her eyes and slept off while sitting on the sofa. Bimpe entered the room, arranged the bed sheet that laid folded on the bed. The bed was wide enough to contain four people . The bed sheet looked sparkling clean. Bimpe laid on the well arranged bed and slept off. Sheila was still laying on the sofa in the sitting room. She saw herself by the bridge again. Where they had disposed the body of Rowland. The bridge looked better than what they saw during the night. The embarkment was built with shiny irons. The bushes around looked like shaky mansions. She saw herself on the bridge with her hand stretched down the river. Rowland was inside the river with his hand stretched upward, so Sheila could rescue him.
"Jump and get hold of my hand", Sheila shouted.
"I can't", Rowland shouted. His voice reechoed. Sheila screamed, and woke up immediately. She was covered in sweats. Drops of sweats dripped from her forehead, down her chin, before landing on her body. Bimpe ran out from the bed room when she heard the noise.
"What's the problem?", Bimpe asked.
"I am okay, it's nothing

. Just a mere nightmare", Sheila replied. Bimpe came closer and held her by her shoulder, as they both sat down.
"You scared me. In fact, I nearly freaked out", Bimpe said.
They were feeling bored. The power had been on since. Bimpe stood and switched on the white socket, hanging on the wall. The architecture that drew the design before it was produced was sure a genius. The bulb shone in its glory. The ceiling fan had been on, but the AC wasn't. But Sheila still sweated. Bimpe moved to the TV and switched on all the electric appliances that powered it. She picked up the remote control that laid on the shelf under the wall placed flat screened TV set. They had watched M-Net series before they went to bed. After the decoder had finished loading, M-Net series video stared widely on the Television. Bimpe changed it to African Magic Urban. Old episode of The Johnson family drama was going on. Bimpe was being entertained by Spiff's annoying acting which she finds irritating. Sheila had slept off again. From The Johnson family drama, to other TV series, Bimpe watched till she was tired.
Bimpe looked at the wall clock, it was 3:23AM. She used the duvet she had on to cover herself as she laid on another sofa until it was dawn.

Bimpe went the bathroom to brush her teeth, as she dragged Sheila with her.

. They spent about seven minutes brushing their tooth. It normally took Sheila less than five minutes to get done with brushing. But she persisted, so Bimpe could rinse her mouth first.
They were done. Bimpe boiled water, poured it in a jug and added tea and milk before she stirred it. She shared it equally in a mug. She opened the freezer, brought out a loaf of sliced bread. She brought out butter and sardine; mixed both together and smoothened them at the middle of the breads before she covered them with ones that weren't smoothened with sardine.
"Come and have a seat", Bimpe called on Sheila who was trying to clean the television. Sheila was almost done. She rounded up her cleaning, dropped off the duster, washed her hands in the basin and joined Bimpe in the dining.
"How about our plans?", Bimpe queried.
"Which plans?", Sheila asked confused.
"Lodging you in a hotel for now", Bimpe said.
"I think I'm fine and it will raise suspicions", Sheila said. She continued, "physically, I'm fine. Just come around to stay with me before I recuperate emotionally".
"Okay, that's not a problem", Bimpe said.
