Instinct
Usually, Noah could read through my thoughts, however, regarding what I'd experienced with the vampire, both the first, and the most recent, he didn't seem to fathom any of it. I didn't know how to explain myself either.
The Vampires were supposed to be the enemy, and yet, the one that kept appearing to me seemed harmless. He knew me, I could tell, and although I didn't know who he was at all, I'd still felt safe in his company . Of course, my perspective was only based on a dream, but even I, knew better than to call it just a dream. After all, I was a banshee, one that was naturally endowed with the power of instinct.
"He's coming.."
Those were his assuring words to me, and as I zipped the makeshift shelter open, with Noah, Milo, and Thato lingering behind me, we'd all ducked outside to find a group of four stood confidently amidst our territory.. They were all burly guys, and I'd looked at them one by one, until my gaze had eventually landed upon his.
"You?" I'd blurted, pointing at him.
"Yes, it's me," He returned easily. And I'd tried to get close, he'd tried to do the same, but Milo had drawn me back defensively.
"Vampires!" He snarled

. And right there, in that very moment, Milo, Thato and Noah had immediately shifted into a big dog, growling endlessly in a way that portrayed their intense anger.
The Vampires were prepared also, as their batty-features had instantly come to light. They were ready to fight back.. All, except him.
And we were doing it again, looking deep into each other eyes, and that was when I perceived something. It was really strange, I couldn't explain how it happened, but I felt myself say to him: "What's your name? How do you know me? What do you want?"
However, I hadn't said any of it out loud, I'd asked him through my mind, and he'd heard me.
"I'm Elijah," He'd also replied with his mouth shut. I couldn't pinpoint exactly how I'd heard him either. "And we're not here to fight, I promise. I came for you."
At that point, we were too engrossed to notice the chaos going on between our packs. But he'd broken the eye contact sometime later, after which he'd yelled authoritatively. "Stop!" Immediately, the Vampires had stopped fighting, but my pack wouldn't stop. They were still growling angrily, aiming at the Vampires with their long canines, and sharp claws.
"Noah.. Milo.. Thato, please," I coaxed, and they'd hesitantly succumbed, before slowly shifting back to their human form.
Yet, despite the safe distance between us, I could still sense the tension leaking through the entire space, I could still notice the lethal glares that was being exchanged.
"What do you want? What the hell are you doing here!" Noah had soon snapped impatiently.
"You guys should relax! We are not here to fight you!" One of them deemed it fit to respond, seemingly frustrated about the whole situation.

"Really?" Thato scoffed. "We've met your kind. You attacked us.. So why else exactly would you be here?"
"Well, that's exactly why we are here," Another voice had responded. "We are here because of the kind that attacked you. We are here to join forces, because they are coming for you. They're coming for us!"
Nonetheless, Milo wasn't buying any of it. "Let's say we believe you.. Then I want you to tell me just one thing, okay. Why would you want to help us?" He demanded. "Why exactly?" He insisted with even more emphasis.
"Because of Lulu," Elijah was the one who replied, and this time, he'd said the words out loud, with his gaze refusing to shift from mine.

Very interesting and nice. Though I haven't read of Vampwolf relationship but as allies they try to cooperate when there is a common enemy. Well done Ishola good write-up
