Tomorrow - Episode 5
Jason's first term results was supercious in the words of his headmistress, although he didn't get much credit this time because majority thinks he has gone through the class before and he was familiar with all the subjects and topics. This awesome performance of his was repeated in second and third term which made him the overall best in primary 4.
The village school couldn't organise the prize giving ceremony as they had already spent money on their inter-house sports, also a new building for classrooms was under construction in the school compound to accommodate the growing population of pupils.
Jason thank God for our wonderful results, it seems like God worked to our favour,no prize giving day this term. Altleast no parents will spoil my friends mood said kanu.
I am not afraid to face anybody said Jason, i have gone past that a long time ago
. All i see is just Tomorrow, nothing more. Kanu then asked Jason while he still taught some of his classmates during preparations for exams after all the humiliation he received from them.
Jason giggled and told him that his grandmum always told him to treat others the right Way he would have loved them to treat him regardless of how badly he was treated. That's the only way to show them your superiority

. They went home for the holidays.
During the holiday Jason was asked by her grandmum to prepare for a journey to another town to a shrine. He was shocked hearing this, even though Mama was a traditional worshipper i have followed her to the ones here but never gone to any other place outside our village thought Jason. He just hoped all was well. They got to the big shrine where the old Man in charge over there embraced him like they had met before. It was when the Man was trying to describe his size the last time they visited that his doubts were cleared out.
His grandmum brought out the materials she bought, consultation was made on behalf of all her children after which they left back to their village. Jason enjoyed the trip as he sat down watching like an apprentice. When they got home Jason brought out native chalk blowing it into the thin air so as to stop the rain that was falling. It seems this was working to Jason's amazement as the rain started reducing, he was proud of his power exploits.
The village school resumed for Jason last session as a primary school pupils. This gave him so much excitement, as he has been speaking with his friends that were ahead of him and he would like to experience the stories about secondary school. The session came like a thief and before they all knew it, they were discussing common entrance examination which was conducted by the state government.
Immediately Rose was chanced from her teaching work, she came home to tell her mother that her son will not continue his education in Rivers rather he would go to stay with her Elder brother in Lagos. This was like the news of a century for Jason as he had been praying for it. Many of his friends in the village had been taking away from the village in mass at recent times. He just wanted a change of environment, he was tired of hawking round the Village.
After the news Jason was giving a date at which she(Rose) would come over to take him. Jason waited for over a week after the day his mother gave him but she didn't show up.
He felt sick out of curiosity of what could had gone wrong that made his mum not to show up as planned.
