Tomorrow - Episode 6
When his mum sent a message through a trader that she will around in two days, that he should get his things ready. Jason felt relieved after hearing this news. For the first time in two weeks he left the house to play with his mates. The following day Mama called him, gave him some motherly advice and specifically told him that where he was going to was not a place for merriment and he would confirm this when he gets there.
Late that evening Rose came in a day before as the messenger told them. When asked why by her mother she said that she wanted to spend some days in her sister's place where her younger brother Uche will come over to take Jason to Lagos.
They both left very early the next day in other to enter the first bus
. They arrived her sister's place after two hours on the road.
Sister Joyce was a widow with a daughter, She was living in the urban area part of Rivers state. She was their mothers first child from her first relationship that didn't work out. She owned a super market and was into animal rearing. She had killed a chicken to prepare rice and stew to offer them when they got her place.
They all ate together after which she called Rose inside her room. Sister Joyce a dedicated Christian asked her Rose wether she was pregnant

. This time she couldn't deny it. Rose said yes that she was a month old. Sister Joyce was furious with her for committing the same mistake again. Why didn't you wait to finish your higher institution before sleeping with another man? Don't you know that this was a sin against God?? Who impregnated you this time and his he willing to marry you?? Rose dumbfounded, slowly muttered out a word Sister i had no choice, he has been meeting my needs and I love. He had proposed marriage but i told him that i needed more time to finish my studies.
But with this you have no choice, the marriage will have to take place before you give birth whether you like it or not so you better go back and prepare.
Rose younger brother Uche came in the following day late into the night. He left with Jason whose dreams was unfolding as he had seen it.
They got to Lagos at night due to the traffic encountered on the road. This was surprisingly strange to Jason but him been an adventurous boy enjoyed every bit of the journey.
She was welcomed by his uncle's children Blessing and precious before meeting their mother Martha and her little boy Ugo who was lying beside her.
She sat Jason down to ask him some questions one of which was whether he was ready to stay with them. Jason nodded in agreement, this was a decision he had taken before leaving his grandmum. Jason had told himself that nothing will make him change his mind on that he was willing to go through anything to start life with them even though he was briefed by his younger uncle Uche on their journey to Lagos.
Jason's work started that night when he was asked by Martha to bath her son. Was he able to do this or did he question her for starting with him so early than he envisaged?
