Martha opened the result to read it out to the teacher and Jason's hearing. "80%? How come?
Teacher are you sure this wasn't someone else's results? I don't understand this.
Her teacher friend cut her shut, "Marthy i thought you had changed,weren't you the one that brought him to the school?
Okay I see why you didn't want him to attend your children's private school, i am sorry but am really dissapointed in you. Why don't you like other people's children progress? You only care about yours, boast about them and cover another woman's child light just because they are in your care
. All i see is nemesis, i just pray it doesn't get worst before you re-write your wrongs"
The teacher walked out in anger and even vowed never to come into her house again if she doesn't change her ways. Jason who was standing like a confused statue turned and went inside to thank God. He wished he could run after the teacher to thank her for those words she dished out to Martha.
The next morning Jason resumed school although things are more complicated in the sense that he had to wake up as early as 4am every week days to clean up the house, prepare his cousins for school.
First day at school as a student was fun for Jason even if for just the fact that he was not at home, that's enough peace to him. Surprisingly to Jason that girl she sat with for the entrance exams was admitted too

. She came to him and introduced herself as Love and thanked Jason for his advice that day for it worked.
Jason astonished by her beauty and choice of words replied her "Glory to God and you have such a beautiful name, infact everything about you is beautiful".
Thank you, so what's your name? said Love.
"Oh am Jason by name and can we be sit mate in class too please"?

Jason was acting like his dead emotional strings has suddenly resurrected back to life by Love. There was nothing much to do for the day except talk, talk and talk.
Everyone trying to get along with each other, when the noise was too much, Jason stood up to address the class based on his class prefect experience from the village, many of them thoughts he finished from a private primary school in Lagos because of his composure. He suggested they all should step out one after the other to introduce themselves to the whole class. Stating their name, primary school and best subject.
He started with himself Jason kambili, from village school in Rivers state,best subject maths.
Next, Love Aji from Gaso primary school Ikeja, best subject English studies. Next, Richard from Emmycord primary school Ipaja,best subject Social studies.
Next, Mr Tola your principal, Eko secondary school Ikeja. The whole students busted into laughter hearing their principal introduce himself, my office is close by and i have grades of koboko to discipline the whole class if you disturb my peace, is that taken?
Yes sir, the students echoed. He told them to pick a class prefect and they all pointed at Jason, Mr Tola said so be it, so what ever happens in this class, i will hold you responsible.
Jason nodded in agreement,he knew his duties quite well so there was no need for lectures.
Immediately the Principal left, there was a gun shot fired from nowhere and Jason fell with two of classmates while others ran out for safety except Love.
