Tomorrow - Episode 11

 

Good morning madam" greeted Mr Tola, welcome to my office. 
  Good morning sir, this is my boy that i told you about, he has finished his primary school Education although in Rivers state said Martha. 
"Fair enough, we will give him the common entrance examination, if he passes it then he automatically becomes one of my students if not you will have to take him somewhere else" said Mr Tola.
"Okay you can go ahead and give him the entrance exams right away, i will leave him to your care, am sure he knows the way home when he's done" uttered by Martha.
     Jason was totally confused, "I was told to follow her that i was going to school,  now it's common entrance exams that i didn't prepare for, why does this woman hate me so much? What offense did my parents commit for me to merit all this punishment? Or is it my grandmum that Martha has been complaining about because there's is no synergy between them? Why should I bear ones else punishment"? All this were running through his mind when the principal interrupted and told him to follow the teacher standing in front of him. He followed him to a room where he sat down and was giving an exam questions  and answers booklet. 

       Jason closed his eyes and asked God that if indeed he wants him to school here that he should help him through the challenge before him

. It was an objective exam, he picked up his pencil to start shading, he read some of the questions and they looked bizarred to him. 
He thought of playing "Tombo Tombo"(a local song used in selecting options that you have no idea of) but he forgone that alternative.
He just started and within the space of half an hour, he was done for an exam that was supposed to span for 1h 30min. His sit mate who ran out of options begged him to open his work down for her to copy, Jason told her out rightly that he doesn't know what he has just done but he prayed. "prayers okay let me pray too, thank you" said the beautiful girl who sat with him. 
Jason's recent predicaments has blindfolded him towards females that were his play mates in the village even the ones that have been making advances to him in their area all got deaf attentions, his looks and body physique made some of them blush and boast amongst themselves who he would toast first, he had over heard some of them discussing this while on an errand one particular day. 

Without uttering a word to the girl Jason left to submit his answer booklet to the invigilator, Who asked him to go and sit back to continue his work but Jason insisted that he was through. The teacher asked him one of the questions he had answered correctly on the booklet but he didn't know the answer. The teacher then asked him how he got it correctly on the booklet but he can't defend it. "Sir i was not prepared for this, it looked like a set up to me but i prayed to God for assistance" said Jason. 
"Alright goodbye i hope to see you back as our student in two days time" said the teacher. 
Jason thanked him and ran out of the school premises because he was behind the time Martha gave him to come back due to delays encountered before the start of the exams. 
   
Jason got home to meet Martha at the door panting up and down like she lost something valuable to her. "Jason  so you saw this as an opportunity to go and play right, since morning that i left you in school, look at the time you are coming back" 
He didn't even give him chance to explain before she took hold of his ear, twisting it like meat she wants to put into her soup. Martha in her words said she will see what the outcome of the results will be. Jason just kept quiet looking like a wounded lion. 
 The following day, the results were out and Jason's own was brought in by Martha's friend who was a teacher  in the primary school of the Eko public school. 
Martha opened the result and bust into laughter, i said it now village head.
