Elvis breaks away from their kiss and throws the bulky looking man an angry look... "Hey man what's your problem? Are you stalking my girlfriend and I or what? Can't we have fun in peace?" He yells "Oh errr... I thought.." The man trails off and rests his eyes on Emerald's neck but he saw nothing .. Strange!! He thought he saw a necklace around her neck!! "Sorry . My bad." He apologises and walks away scratching his head......

"What's was that all about Elvis? Why did you kiss me? I'm your sister for Christ's sake.. Such an abomination!!" She retorts wiping her lips in disgust... "Desperate situations calls for desperate measures okay... Sorry but trust me the last thing I would ever want is to kiss you, my very own sister.. But I just had to do something to stop that man from following us" "But why brother? Why? What are we running away from? Why do you always keep me in the dark? Why?" She asked, tears gathering in her eyes.. She was sick and tired of all the secrecy.. For as long as she could remember, ever since she turned five she had been running away from people she knew nothing about.. After she and her brother had witnessed their parent's murder that fateful night, their lives had turned upside down, going into hidings and staying on the low just because her brother said so

When you are much older I will tell you but all I can tell you for now is, protect this necklace with your life" he bent down and dug out the necklace he had hidden earlier as he spoke "No brother.. No.. I'm no longer a child... I'm twenty years old brother and I deserve to know why we are being chased everywhere we go.. Who are we hiding from? I deserve to know and I need answers!!" She yells buttoning her shirt "Enough Emerald!!! Enough!!! Stop being a stubborn brat!!! Its enough for me to have the responsibility of finding our parents murderers and I don't need your tantrums now do you get it?" he shouts back, standing straight and shoving the necklace into her hands.... Emerald stared at her brother and she felt the frustration turning into sadness and sorrow... She was tired of hiding from unknown people.. All she wanted was a normal life like most girls of her age .... "Oh no melanin I'm sorry!! I made you cry!! I didn't mean to shout at you" Elvis steps closer when he saw the tears trickling down her cheeks... He didn't mean to make her cry... He was only trying to protect her, she was his only family... She steps back "leave me alone!" she hits his hand away and runs towards the street... He watches her leave till she was out of sight.. He sighs...

I tell you what to do, your job is to comply..." "But..but sir I.." She trails off when he hits the table with his fists and stands up "Don't test my patience melanin!! Don't!! Go in there, put on something s-xy, have your make up done and go attend to him.. I ain't taking any excuses!!" He growls anger flashing in his eyes ... Emerald nods quickly and scurries out....
