Chief Yinka drove home. On getting down from his car, he waved at the gateman after he had greeted him.

"Hihihihihihihi," he heard a voice of a little girl. He positioned his ear and his eyes moved frantically.

"Oga, wait. I have something I want to tell you," the gateman voice  sounded shrilly at his back . He turned and fixated at him, "you can go ahead."

He gestured scarily as he spoke, "I think I saw the woman that killed Dolapo," he said while his voice trailed off, "yes, I saw a woman on a white long flowing gown walked from to door to the backyard."

"Really? Tell me more," he said and walked closer to hear him speak well.

"I saw a woman walked briskly to the backyard. She closed the door loudly and it made a loud noise," he said.

"Okay, did you approach her?"

"Yes, I ran after her. I got to the backyard and didn't see her again. I searched frantically yet I still didn't see her. Immediately I wanted to walk back to my duty, I heard a little girl laughed in the sitting room. From the backyard, I could see only see the kitchen

. I peeped through, and immediately the pot on the cooker fell on the floor while the food inside it all poured on the floor. I ran back to the front of the house, and as I wanted to open the door knob, yet it was locked." Chief Yinka gaze was directly fixated at him. He was engrossed in his story.

"....and while I held the door knob, the noise persisted. I heard the voice of a woman and little girl in the sitting room. I felt a spirit hovered on top of my head and I ran for my dear life."

"Did you just said you heard the voice of a mother and her daughter?" He asked and his voice shrieked.
"Yes, I did. I think my hours are numbered in this house. I'm a graduate and would rather concentrate on doing other things I was doing before," he said. He ran into his boys quarter and pulled out his luggage.

"Oga, I'm going," he blurted and ran out. Chief Yinka gazed at him while he opened the gate and walked away. He shook his head and walked to the door while he trembled. He tried opening it by holding the knob, yet it was locked. He inserted the key into the door and it opened. He trembled in fear but shook it off. He locked the door and walked into the kitchen. The pot stood gallantly on the cooker looking untouched. He walked slowly to the cooker and opened it, the food still looked untouched.

"He is definitely hallucinating. That's not really a way he should have told me he finally got a job offer and was tired of doing the gateman job," he hissed and walked to the room. He pulled of his clothes, laid on the bed and slept off.

Bimpe stood up from the ground she laid on and dusted her body. She let out a shrill cry but had to comport herself because of those who stood around and watched her and the fire outbreak.

Some young ladies walked close to interview her. They had a microphone on their hands. She guessed they were journalists.

"Hello, young Lady. What happened? You are an eye witness?" They asked and they all positioned their microphones to her mouth.

"Not really?" She said. She didn't want to give off any thing that would implicate her.

"Okay, but some ladies said that they saw you jump from the first storey building. How did you do it," one asked.

"I really don't know. I had an adrenaline rush. I jumped down and saw myself on the ground unscathed. It's God, but I'm sad that other people have to die. My best friend was there," she screeched and cried.

"Can you tell us what happened since you where up there too when it all started?" One asked again.

"I can really say. I came to the hospital to see the doctor. I was told to stay in the waiting lounge. While waiting, I dozed off but was awoken by shrill cries after the fire outbreak had began; everywhere was dark. We tried to open the doors but it couldn't, and I had to jump down due to scares. I thought others would follow suit," her voice shimmered.

"I know the feeling," one said. She pulled herself away from the grip and walked home.

She got to the gate of her house, and knocked, nobody answered.

. She pushed it and it opened. She walked in and yelled, "Bosun!" Nobody answered. She opened the door of the boys quarter slowly and looked in. She noticed someone run and hid at the back of the door. She walked in and searched frantically but didn't see anyone. She walked out. She walked to the door of her house, held the knob and it opened. She walked in.

"Daddy!!! I love you," a voice echoed to Chief Yinka in his dream. He found himself in the middle of a dusty road surrounded by six feet shrubs. A little girl ran towards him and wanted to hug him, he brushed her off and she drifted forward.

"No! She is my daughter," a young woman with her head bent down ran briskly to attack him.

"Noooooo!!!!!" He screeched and woke up. Bimpe ran to the bedroom, and met her husband sweating profusely.
