The Journey
The taxi swerved towards the famous Yaba motor park, filled with various space bus, most of which were white in colour, several people rushed, intending to cajole father and daughter to patronize their services, some almost pulling the luggage off their hands. The face Mr David's presented was enough to discourage them from persuading further.
He beckoned on them with his face now straight indicating his awareness of his choice. "Thank you" I know my favorite bus" said Mr David's . They all left with their eyes keen on any incoming travellers.
The harmattan made everywhere hazy, the atmosphere was blur. Nene let off her travelling box which she had held on to since alighting the commercial bus, she gently sat on her travelling box that leaned on a dust filled railing, awaiting her dad's arrival, he had instructed her to wait while he went to get ticket for both. A feeling of Joy mixed with nervousness ran across her mind, her academic dreams was being fulfilled but she feared she would lag behind due to late resumption. She observed her surroundings focusing more on the Psycathric hospital on the left side of the road. A black Camry drove into the high hospital gate, she felt sorry for whosoever was affected.
The bus was occupied Majorly by young people, Mr David's had chosen the row behind the drivers seat

. The bus was was almost filled except for two seats at the centre row.
Everyone chanted "Amen" in unison at the conclusion of the prayer.
"Do not follow bad gangs and above all focus on your education as this is your primary reason for going to the University".

. Nene was surprised, usually it was her mum that gives this nature of advice, she avoided his eye contact and nodded at the completion of each statement.
It was the first passenger that alighted from the bus, Nene checked her silver wrist watch it was 4:15pm, "Daddy, his box is exactly like mine". Nene said this after she confirmed by checking beneath a seat that her travelling box was not that with the passenger that just alighted. There wasn't a difference.
"What a coincidence" marvelled Mr. Davids. "It could have led to a serious conflict if you had confronted him without checking", Nene half smiled.
Alas, they reached their destination, They alighted at Uselu junction. Nene noticed her box weighed lighter, she could pull it with ease. "Wait" beckoned Mr. David's he unzipped the brown box.
Nene placed both hands on her head while her dad bit his fingers with regret. Mr David's faced was now red, Nene stood still trying to figure out if she was dreaming, the contents were different from her. The stranger swapped her luggage which contained about eighty percent cent of her luggage, millions of thought ran across her mind her Joy was now turned into sorrow.
Mr David stopped a cab, he described the location where the passenger had alighted to the cab driver, As he hoped they would meet up with him. Nene heart skipped faster as they approached , She was now in total confusion.
