S.I.R.E.N (The Journey of Love) - Episode 11

 

"So the first step I am going to teach you is how to walk, dress and talk like a human", said Joel to Sirene who held a look of confusion in her face.

"I don't get you. Does it mean humans walk differently from us?"

"Yeah they do. They have feets and we have tails. Now get up and walk over to that door" . Joel said as he pointed to a door at the other side of the room.

"Well that's easy to do". Sirene said as she got up from where she was, stood up and started walking towards the door. She fell down immediately.

"I told you. The number one first step I am going to teach you is to walk normally as the human. But you were walking like a cat fish. Anyway, you will walk straight towards that door and opened it. That is your first lesson. After that I am going to take you for shopping and then after get you a job in one of the leading companies here". Joel told Sirene excited.

"You have to forget about him Siren and move on with your life". Davis said as he cuddled Siren in his arms.

"I can't Davis. I have a genuine feelings for him".

"You can't just expect him to love you immediately. He doesn't even know you Siren, he had only met you once and it was brief

. And besides you haven't  told him yet about your feelings". Davis said and he sigh "Siren, it's been a week and you are still crying over that guy. Get over him, you will find someone better than him, I promise".

"Phew, you have gotten the right steps at last. Now let's go and eat at least to put something in your stomach after that we are going for shopping". Joel said elated as Sirene had quickly adapted the ways the humans walk.

"Choose any clothes of your choice". Joel announced as they entered a boutique.

And Sirene spend the rest of the day choosing the clothes of her choice.

"Do you think she can be able to work as perfectly as you have spoken Mr Joel?" Salvador, a middle aged man asked as he looked at Sirene from head to her toes.

"Yes sir, I am perfectly sure. She can do it, right Sirene?".

"Yes sir I can".

"Hmm I see. Any way, you are going to start as the Secretary to Mr Joel here. Mr Joel recommendations are perfect so I am going to make you work for Joel first to see your works before any further notice". Salvador said as Joel brim in smile.

"I see no problem in that sir". Joel said.

"So Sirene what happened to your face?"

"I was involved in an accident which claimed the lives of my parents when I was little".

"Really? But I have never heard of....anyway just forgot it. Welcome to LuSal Company". Salvador said smiling at the young girl. Sirene also smiled back.

"Joel can show you to your new office". He said as Joel lead Sirene out of the office towards hers.

Salvador smiling face faded.

He felt for his chest pocket for something. He pulled out an old picture. A beautiful smiling lady was smiling back at him. And a little smile appeared on his face. The picture had been with him since the day she ran away- from him. He had searched every where for her. Being the richest Don, he had use his position to find her but couldn't.

. It was like she had vanished from the surface of earth- hiding away from him.

"Oh my beloved Lucy", he sigh slowly. "If only you had told me my mistakes Lucy".

"Once you are in the human world, only the child of Lucy will see this". One of the Sirens handed over a beautiful pearl necklace to Jencita who took it from her hands. "Others won't see it except Lucy's daughter. Now put it around your neck".

Jencita did as she was instructed "And then what".

"You are going to a friend of mine who stays in the human world. She is going to teach you everything that you need to know about the humans". Luciana said this time.

"So when am I leaving to the almighty human world?" Asked Jencita as she rolled her eyes.

"You are going now". The Sirens reply.

 Then they encircle her, saying some chants.  "Remember only the child of Lucy can see your necklace". Jencita disappeared.

"Do you think she will find the truth about her birth?" Luciana asked as the evil Sirens swam towards her. "I feel that she might know the truth sooner or later, I am scared".

"Don't worry about a thing Luciana, Pola will never let that happened". They told her.

So what truth can Luciana be hiding?
