S.I.R.E.N (The Journey of Love) - Episode 10

 

"Mother, I am not going to the human world and you can't force me to do that". Said Jencita as she continued playing with her pearls ignoring her mother.

"What do you mean you can't go to the human world to do a simple task". Luciana bellowed with anger towards her daughter.

"A simple task? A simple task you say? Tell me then, how can I possibly go to the human world when I do not even know my niece face, her color, hair and so on. I am not a magician mother, but a mermaid".

"My Sirens will give you what you'd need for you to know her".

"But still yet, I can't go to the human world . You have killed the mother, let her child be". Jencita said.

"You don't get it do you? If I let my twin sister child be, eventually she will come here to destroy us. That is what I am preventing. You will go to the human world, find her and destroy her. Am I understood?" Luciana said slowly, her eyes meeting her daughter's own as they narrowed in size. Jencita after staring a while gave out a heavy sigh.

"Alright. You don't have to look at me like that, I will go". Said Jencita to Luciana who gave out a happy smile.

Siren knocked at the door and Juliet opened the door for her.

"Good day ma'am". Juliet greeted as she opened the door wider for Siren to enter and Siren sat down on the worn out sofa she sat on when she had paid Juliet a previous visit.

"Good day Mrs Juliet, please can I get a glass of water", Siren said as her eyes and ears look around for Daniel

. Juliet had gone to get a glass of water for her as she has requested then she ask Juliet "Ummh, how is your son Daniel and how is he?" Siren asked as soon as Juliet gave her the water.

"He's fine. He went out with his Fiancee, they left some few minutes ago before you came".

Siren choked on her water as the cup fell off her hand and Juliet rushed to get a towel to clean up the spilled water. "Are you okay ma'am?"

"Yeah, I am. Thank you". Siren responded with a smile. "So Daniel has a Fiancee? As in he has someone".

"Yes ma'am. The day he lost his sight was the day he proposed to Jenny after his engagement he lost his sight. They have been an item for sometime. I just pray everything ends well for my son... are you sure you are alright, your face look pale". Juliet said with concern.

"Am fine", Said Siren As she stood up to go. "I came to inform him or you that I am on my way to see a friend of mine who is a Ophthalmologists. Whatever the outcomes of my visit to him, I will inform you both".

Juliet eyes widen in surprised, "You are going to see a Ophthalmologists for my son? Do you know that they charge".

"Yes, but your son is exceptional and he has a great talent in music. I believe once his eyesight are being restored, he will become a great artist". Siren said faking up a smile as she told Juliet who has started crying.

"Thank you ma'am, thank you", Juliet said in tears of joy.

Siren made to move than pause in her stride. "One more thing, you must never tell your son who helped him. To him, I am a mysterious helper. Am I understood?".

"Clearly ma'am".

"I am going to direct the doctor to this place. And once everything is okay, you are still welcome back to PaSiren Company any time, any day".

"Thank you so much ma'am". Juliet said flabbergasted of what she heard.

"Good bye Mrs Juliet". Siren said finally, forcing herself out of the house towards her car.

She drove off fast at the end of the street, she him. Daniel and a pretty lady, smiling at him. They look good together. She wished them happiness.

She immediately send a text to Dr Powell.

She got home, ignoring her parents as they called out her name.

Davies was drawing the picture of the mermaid girl when his phone rang. He glance at it and saw the caller was Siren. He quickly dropped what he was doing and pick up the call.

"Hello my beautiful Siren, whats up?". Davies said playfully but heard a sob in return. "Siren, are you okay?".

"Why me Davies, I am am hurt by the one I love the most".

"I don't get you Siren, what happened".

"You remember the guy I once talked about...the one who is blind but has a nice voice. The one I told you that I am in love with?"

"Yeah. Did he reject your love? Did he hurt you? How dare him do that to you. Do he know the daughter you are?"

"No, none of the above. His mom told me he has a Fiancee that he will marry. I was hurt on hearing that but the most painful part of it is that I still love him".

"I am coming over to your place right now Siren". Davies hung up the call, told his father where he was heading too and drove out of the Mansion.
