Redemption - Episode 42

 

Lucas:

"That's pretty messed up boss" James says and shake his head solemnly. I don't need him to tell him how fucked up this is. Why is fate so cruel. I can feel the back of my eyes stinging with unshed tears as I clench my eyes shut. "I liked her for you boss. For the first time, I saw you happy about something aside your career. You can't just let that go . " He continues and I blink my eyes open to stare at him. Shouldn't he be telling me to give up and let my brother have his happy family? "You deserve a chance. She was with your brother yes. But don't you think she left him for a reason? You just have to prove to her that you can take care of her heart, body and child. Show her you are the better man, Lucas. " He calls me my name for the first time for as long as I can remember and I know he is damn serious about this. "You are right. I need to talk to her." I say after a moment's thought and spring right out of my seat. I wince a little from the pain Luis inflicted earlier and I see James grimace. "I know he's your brother but that man is pretty crazy. What a temper. " James says and something hits me. Was this why Benedicta left him? Did the bastard lay a hand on my bee? I clench my fist tight till it hurts as I boil inside. . I need answers and I am ready to come clean to Benedicta now. She has never said she loves me but I am willing to hope I can make her choose me. I have to get to that party and get to Benedicta before Luis. "let's go James." "Oh oh." he says and I stop in my tracks to look back at him. "what's up?" I ask as I see the look on his face. Something is definitely wrong. "Talina just sent you a mail." he says and push his Tab in front of my face.

There's a guy standing in front of your little Benedicta's house at my orders. He may or may not be armed but you wouldn't want t find out when he puts in hole in that bitch right? Don't you dare mess with me ever again.

"what the hell?!" I growl. "she wouldn't dare. She's bluffing." James says. Several alerts sounds on his tab seconds later and I see his face go pale when he looks down at it. " is this by chance, where Benedicta lives?" James asks and I see several shots of Benedicta's house on the tab and I see red. I grab the tab and nearly smash it against the tiled floor before James hold my arm. "Calm down. This is just a threat. She wouldn't do that. Benedicta is in the public eye too much right now and her death will arouse suspicions." He says to calm me down but I shake my head. "I am not going to wait for my woman to get hurt before I do something about it. We have to move the plan up. We bring her down today. " I grind out. "What about Benedicta's party?" "We have to do this now. For her own good. This will give me time to think as well." "grab the car keys and text the governor. The plan is underway." I state as I storm out of the house towards the garage with James trailing behind me.

Lucas;

Two hours and thirty minutes later.

"She is on her way upstairs. The receptionist already gave her a key card. " James say through the phone and I nod. I turn to the huge man James hired and give him an okay sign. "here is the voice recording. Just play each of the files one after another. You don't have to talk. I'll be in the restroom. " I say and hand the recorder to him. He nods and I wait for him to get under the covers before I silently slip into the restroom. I hear the door slip open and I strain my ears to listen.

"We were not supposed to meet today. " I hear the unmistakable voice of Talina on the other side of the door and I grin at our first victory. I thought she wouldn't show up at all. We had the governor text her to meet him here and like the evil whore she is, she came. "why is the room dark?" I hear her ask and I hold my breath for the next hurdle of the plan. "I am not here for stupid tantrums Tabitha." I hear the recorder say with a little cackling at the end. "I told you not to call me Tabitha anymore. I know you picked me from the slumps and cleaned me up but at least call me Talina. I have served you for a decade now, satisfying your every need in the bedroom unlike your fat assed wife. I deserve that much right baby? " I hear her say and my disgust for the lady increase. Isn't she ashame of her self? She claims to be smart but a stupid voice recorder fools her. She probably forgets all about the darkness because I hear her footsteps get closer to me. What is she doing? I press my ear to the door and startle when my phone starts vibrating at the same time I see the door's handle move. She's coming in here! I quickly end the call and tiptoe to hide behind the huge bathtub. The door flies open at the same time the guy I hired screams. I use this distracting to silent my phone before another call exposes us. "No! " in panic and I shake my head at the slip. I see Talina abandon the door and turn back to the dark room. "you sound weird. Somehow different. Are you okay? " I hear her say. He better not say a word. "Strip." I hear the familiar voice of the governor say through the recorder. "What?! But I just got here. " Talina says. Clearly getting annoyed. "Strip. " I hear the recorder sound again. The restroom door is still open and I raise my head up a little to see Talina start undressing. Wow. She hasn't caught up with our facade. I watch her move naked towards the bed with bated breath. "yes! Get on the bed. " I will her with my mind. She is almost to the bed when her phone pings and she stops. "I have to take this" she says without warning as she turns and grab her phone. My own phone which has been vibrating against my thigh registers in my mind and I quickly pull it out of my pocket. It's James. I connect the call without delay. "Something's wrong. A suspicious valet attendant just saw me and he's making a call. Cut to plan B." He says just as my eyes catch Talina going to the switch and turning the lights on suddenly. "I knew something was wrong. You fraud! " She yells as she pull the covers off, revealing our guy who is obviously not the governor. She lunge herself at him as she yells into her phone for Whosover is on the other side of the line to come up quickly. "get off me woman! " our guy yells as he struggles to get a hold of Talina's hand. I use this opportunity to grab the syringe from my pocket while she is distracted and crawl out of hiding. She doesn't even notice me in the room until I stick the syringe into her leg. "Shit! What was that? " She yells as she looks down to meet my eyes. "it's over devil. " I grind out as her eyes glaze over and she slump on the hard floor in a heap. "She was calling someone up here. We need to get out of here before we get arrested. " The huge guy who I just noticed is scared big guy says completely panicked and I shush him. "Get her on the bed. " I order as I dial James's number. "get the stupid valet who notified her. Don't let him fucking interrupt me, you understand?" I spit out in anger. "Already taken care of. The fool is currently stuck in the 3rd floor's elevator.

. " James says and I smirk. "Good job." I end the call and focus my attention on the task at hand. The nude Talina is dragged unto the bed by the huge guy who is naked from the waist up. He enters into bed beside her and I take various pictures of both of them, making sure to avoid capturing his face. I smirk when Talina rouse a little in her drug induced sleep. She messed with the wrong Bee. "And that's a wrap on our photoshoot. " I chuckle at the huge guy and he gives me a thumbs up.

I make sure to send the pictures to Talina, warning her to try anything and have the pictures posted online before I grab everything of mine from the room and walking out majestically.
