"Exactly, because you have me already and we're soon getting married!". Habeeb said, entering the living room.

Sakinah quickly withdrew from where she was sitting on. Hearing habeeb's voice always send shivers down her spine. His voice, only, could cause her pain even without him touching her. With each passing day, Sakinah's phobia increases . Wild dreams of Habeeb chasing her, s-xually abusing her, making her cry and yelp in anguish... Sometimes, she'd make up her mind to tell her mom or mama rabi her plight, but whenever she recalled those threats by Habeeb, she'd get scared, and would promptly change her mind about narrating her ordeal with anyone.

"Yaya Habeeb!" Nafisa jumped up happily, before engulfing him in a hug "We missed you so much, how was the trip?".

"Exhausting, Sis... I'm jet legged" he replied before falling wearily into the couch beside Sakinah. "Baki iya gaisuwa bane? (Can't you greet huh?)" He directed his question to Sakinah.

"We...wel...welcome" she stammered.

"Yaya, I think she's super excited because you said you're marrying her" Nafisa said excitingly.

"She obviously knows I'm kidding..." He beamed with smile, "So, how school?"

"Not sweet, Yaya. I just want to quickly graduate and rest at home" Nafisa whined.

Sakinah used that opportunity to run stealthily from the living room

. There's absolutely no way she'd stay in the same place with Habeeb. He disgust her, he deflowered her, he damaged her honor... He's an exploiter. A rap-st. Not only him, but all the guys out there too. They're the same. And why should a girl even trust them? when all they know is s-x, and how to damage the life of innocent girls. How stupid!

She knocked at mama rabi's door before entering. She spotted Sameer sitting down by the study table, probably doing his assignment.

"Where is mama?" She asked in what seemed like a whisper.

"She's in the bedroom" Sameer replied.

She nodded in acknowledgement, and walked straight to the bedroom. She found mama rabi reading her one time favorite book, titled, "Bloodline" by Sidney Sheldon. She hugged mama rabi from behind before kissing her cheeks.

"How is my mummy doing?" She asked still hugging her.

"Am fine. And how is my daughter doing?" mama rabi uttered with a smile on her face.

"Well, I was actually doing good before Yaya Habeeb came" Sakinah lamented before sitting beside mama rabi.

Mama rabi stared at her, with her heart beating faster than normal. What if her hunch is right? What if what she has been suspecting, for the past years, is true?  What if, really, Habeeb has trespassed where he shouldn't have? What if he had already used Sakinah before she noticed his moves and the way he looks at the innocent girl years back?  Whatever it is, she's going to find out slowly If God Will. "When are you planning to get married dear?" Mama rabi asked Sakinah one of the questions she disliked the most in her life.

Sakinah gave her a pointed look like she's going to eat her raw, or even beat the hell out of her. "I'm never getting married mama. Guys are nothing but bunch of lairs and betrayers. To them, we are like some piece of cloth... Cloth they can change anytime they feel they are tired with. You know what mama? I totally, as in, absolutely hate the idea of getting married. Like, at all. All I want now is for me to graduate from school, be a lawyer and then stand up for those ladies out there who were broken completely by men.... I'll make sure I make those men pay, make them cry and yelp in pain when being tortured. I want them to have sleepless nights, have worst nightmares when ever they close their eyes. I want them to suffer silently before we meet our Lord for the final judgment!".

Mama rabi could perceive the anguish and fury behind those words, and that made her broken. Sakinah will never talk this way without being hurt.

"Why?" Mama rabi asked slowly, as if she herself is afraid of her question.

"Because that's what I want mama. And In Shaa Allah (If God Will) I shall make it!" came Sakinah's reply while clenching her hands.

"Is there a reason why?" Mama rabi asked further. This time, she was holding Sakinah's hands in hers.

Sakinah looked straight into mama rabi's eyes, she knows mama rabi's love for her was pure and genuine. Whatever the case might be, she'd never tell anyone what happened to her. She is going to fight for herself when the time comes.

"I... I just hate men mama. I so much hate them. Sometimes I feel like they should all vanish into thin air. I hate it when I look at a guy or caught him looking at me. I just hate them... I hate them mama!" And with that, she broke down completely before hugging mama rabi.

Mama rabi didn't say a word. All she did was hug her back. Her heart squeezed in pain. This time around she knew, for sure, Habeeb did something to the little girl, and he surely is going to pay for his heinous crime!

"Its okay dear, Allah will surely see you through. And when the right time comes, the right man will come for you, In Shaa Allah (If God Will)".

Sakinah felt the urge to break the hug and roll her eyes at mama rabi, but she knows that no matter how hard she tried, no one will ever understand her pain.... Except a victim like her.

"Thank you mama" she muttered.

"Yaya Dawoud!" Nafisa and Safinah shouted happily as soon as Dawoud stepped his right foot into the living room.

"My sisters" he replied, sounding so excited.

"Good afternoon Mom, Good afternoon Mama" he greeted the two parents.

"Afternoon Dawoud. How was the trip?" Hajiya Siyyamah asked.

"Alhamdulillah. Na sameku lafiya (Hope you're all fine?)".

"Fine, Alhamdulillah. How is Maimuna and the kids?" Mama rabi asked.

"All fine. They even asked me to give their regards to you all".

Nafisa screwed up her face at the mention of Dawoud's wife. Even if he has three wives, she's willing to be the fourth.

"Where is Sakinah? And the boys?" He asked further.

"Sakinah went to the library few hours ago, the boys are in the field playing football. How is your mom and Alhaji?" Hajiya siyyamah inquired.

"They are all fine. Alhaji traveled to South Africa last week. Hopefully, he'll come back next week" He replied.

"Yes, I heard Alhaji talking with him on phone. Allah dawo dashi lafiya (May God bring him back safely)".

"Ameen... Ameen".

"Nafisah, bring food for your brother," Mama rabi ordered, "Let me call Sakinah and apprise her of his arrival" She added before tapping on her phone.

She called Sakinah and the phone kept ringing without any response. And when the phone was answered at last, she heard a guy's voice.

"AsSalama Alaykum. I was about to call any of her family members, but the phone was passworded. If I am not mistaking, I am talking to her mother right? please come over to Lugbe hospital. She had an accident" The guy bespoke.

"Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihir rajiiun" Mama rabi lamented, "We'll be right there in an instant..." Mama rabi replied quickly before apprising the others about it.

Sakinah drove slowly around area_8. She disliked the fact that Habeeb was back, and currently in their domicile. His voice only disgust her, talk more of looking at his face. Instead of driving back home, she took the road that will take her to Lugbe, along airport road. Just as she was about to pass a carpenter's shop, her car broke down. Sakinah was angry beyond words, as she stormed out of the car. She tried calling their mechanic but couldn't reach through. The carpenter, noticing her discomfort walked over to her to help her.

"Need any help miss?" He asked.

Sakinah didn't even spare him a glance. To her, he approached her only to gain her trust. And after gaining her trust, he'd deceive her and use her, just like Yaya Habeeb did.

"I can help miss. Let me take a look at the car.

. It might be a minor problem" he offered again.

Sakinah was getting angry at how persistent he was, she turned angrily to snap at him. Unknown to her was a car fast approaching. The carpenter had to grab her hand and shove her aside. That touch, just that single touch made her lost her senses. That single touch triggered her phobia. That single touch made her zone out... She went blank all of a sudden and couldn't even point out where she was, or what was happening around her. And before the carpenter could ask her what was happening to her.... She fainted!
