Zunnurayn shifted from his initial position, this time around shifting all his weight to his right leg and crossing the left leg over the right. His hands still crossed around his chest as he rests his back on his black sienna. He checked the wrist watch tied around his left hand and realized that he has been standing outside Alhaji Bello Gada's mansion for almost an hour, waiting for Safinah.

Sometimes, he do wonder why he just couldn't give up on her and look for someone else. Yes, he knows he's good looking, even thou he's not blessed with sideburns or beards, his face was overly shaped with a long and pointed nose, medium eyes, luscious lips.. . and he has a black curly hair that speaks who truly he is; 'A fulani man'. So, why don't he just give up on her and give jameelah a chance and see what she's capable of. But no, every single time he tried to shunning her or forgetting about her, he just couldn't. What he's feeling for Safinah is not an obsession, neither is it lust. It's Love, purely from Rabbul arshil Azim! (Allah).

He fished out his phone from the side of his caftaan and dialed Safinah's number.

"Am coming please. Stop disturbing my peace, malam" she chirped in as soon as she picked up the call.

Zunnurayn only smiled and clicked off the call before adjusting the black cap 'zanna bukar' he was wearing which compliments his white caftaan.

Safinah came out dressed in a plain black abaya

. Her face glowing from her natural beauty with only kohl to her beautiful large eyes. She stood few inches away from where Zunnurayn stood and muttered a quick 'Salaam'. If not that Zunnurayn had paid attention to her lips, he wouldn't have point out what she uttered. It was inform of whisper.

"Afternoon Wify. You look naturally beautiful. Maa shaa Allah!" He complimented her.

"Uhhggh! I've known that am always beautiful since the first day I came into this world. So, if you don't mind... can you please keep your compliments to yourself? They actually mean nothing to me" She said not meeting his gaze.

Zunnurayn was silent for a moment before pasting a smile on his face.

"Right. I shouldn't have said a thing. Actually, I was thinking of reading a book about love and getting some tips from there. You know, just to make you feel like a queen while I shower you endless love In shaa Allah" He verbalized, smiling.

Safinah huffed at his confidence and wonder when he'll get angry at what indifference. But it seems like he never seems to care about it. All he wants is to win her love and affection. Nothing more. Nothing less!

"What do you want?" She asked not so nicely.

"To see you of course. I miss you Safinah, believe it or not... I fall in love with you over and over again each passing day. I just don't know how to make you understand that I love you beyond words. I know I'm not rich, neither am I upto your standards, but please Safinah, pity this poor heart of mine that is bleeding and yearning for your love" Zunnurayn said slowly. His voice already showcasing his pain.

Screw you Zunnuryan! Safinah mused to herself.

"You've said it yourself ai Malam Usman. You're not rich and not upto my standards, so why waste my precious time please? You see, I have lots of things to do right now and can't just stand here and listen to those gibberish you call love. If you'll please excuse me!" She hissed and walked away.

And he was hurt. Today being the first day he lets Safinah's words hurt him. Damn!

"Is it a must for me to attend this 'get together' stuff, girls?" Sakinah asked as her hands go through the silky gown picked out for her by Safinah for the outing.

Today, they agreed to meet some of their primary school friends and have fun. Reunion it is!

"Of course, Miss" Nafisah replied rolling her eyes at Sakinah, "Just get ready and stop disturbing us with those whinnies. You ain't a baby, okey?"

"If you piss me off, I won't be going and no one can force me to!"

"Okay fine. Can you please get ready Madamosile?" Safinah asked bowing down a little.

"Sure. Give me a moment please" Sakinah replied faking the British accent.

"Yeah, You go girl. Hurry please!" Nafisah said pushing her towards the bathroom.

It took them an hour-plus to get dressed. We girls and our make up, even if a girl won't apply any make up, be sure to know that she'll take her time in dressing herself up. Ladies rule!

They strolled down the stairs and went into their mom's room. Hajiya Siyyamah has been discharged from the hospital three weeks back. She's trying so hard to recuperate and clear the air between her two kids, Sakinah and Nafisah. She believe they hate her for one reason or the other and she can't really point out.

As they passed through Mama Rabi's room and heard them Sultan speaking inside, Sakinah's heart lurched in pain as tears where trying to spill from her eyes. She quickly left the living room and went outside ahead of them. Every single day, she cries and pray for Mama Rabi. She can't help it. Whenever she remembered Mama Rabi, it's a must for her to cry.

The ride to Wonderland was awfully quiet as they were all sober. It seemed like they've all remembered Mama Rabi and are Missing her. Nafisah was the one driving, and stopped the car as soon as she saw Mansoor.

She parked the car and stormed out from there moving up to where Mansoor was busy making a bed. Safinah saw him too and stormed out of the car, leaving only Sakinah inside.

"Damn! what a healthy surprise this is. Nafisah and Safinah? How are you girls?" Mansoor asked happily knowing quite well that Sakinah, the grumpy one, can't be among them.

"Fine... fine Malam Mansoor. Two days, how have you been?" Nafisah asked.

"I traveled to Kano and just came back yesterday that's why. Ya qarin haquri? (i.e asking about their lost; Mama Rabi)" He asked in a sad tone.

"Alhamdulillah. Haquri kam ya zama dole! (We thank Allah)" Safinah replied, "What took you to kano?" She added.

Mansoor scratched his curly hair down to his neck and smiled, "I hail from kano. My mom lives there with my sister Ruqayyah". He replied with a smile.

"Ma shaa Allah. We're also from Kano ai. That's great, let head up before we are late" Nafisah said making her way to the car with Safinah on her tail.

"Where are you girls going to? Dressed so beautifully like this?" He asked, lightly smiling.

"We have a 'get together' lunch to attend, and we are almost late" Safinah gave him an answer sitting back on her seat. That was when he saw Sakinah, who was busy swiping through her phone.

"Well, Hello Dear Miss Grumpy"

Sakinah looked up and gave him a pointed look. Mansoor only smiled, shook his head and wish them safe ride before going back to his work.

"Na'imah" Safinah squealed as soon as she saw her seatmate.

"Saf saf!" Na'imah squealed back before hugging eachother. That was how it began, them hugging and hugging each other until they finally settled down.

Out of no where, the famous and notorious Aminah Abimiku who happened to be their rival right from primary school days till now, appeared. Dressed she was in a black denim jeans and red top. Aminah only wrapped a small veil on her head while the donkey hair she added to top up her hair fall on her back behind her neck. Her face was painted with lots and lots of makeup, with a very heavy eye liner drawn in her eyes which made her look like a witch.

"Hello girls!" Came her deep voice which sounds like that of a guy.

They all looked at her and almost laughed but held their laughter.

"Hello Coco" Nafisah replied. Coco has been her nickname since those days. She choose Coco as her nickname for the love she has for chocolates.

She sat down beside Sakinah and smiled. "Its been a while, how have you all been?" She asked.

"Fine. You?" Zainab asked her

"Fine too. Heard you girls lost your step mom. It's a good thing, you know, I hate step moms". Sakinah's eyes lifted harshly as she placed them on Aminah giving her a pointed look full of hatred and anger.

"Don't. You. Dare. Talk. About. My. Mom. That. Way!" Sakinah said gritting her teeth, "I won't tolerate sh-ts like this and won't tolerate to listen to your Bullsh-ts, Miss Abimiku!" She added angrily.

Aminah shifted uncomfortably in her seat smiling weirdly, "Uhh, I'm so sorry girls. It...was....a..a.. Slip....of...f...tongue" she stuttered.

None of them gave her a reply as they kept talking about random things.

"Coco, I heard the guy you're getting married to called off the wedding. Why?" Jalilah asked.

"What? Where did you hear a news like that?" She asked angrily.

"Abun duniya na boyuwa ne? Just tell us the truth, okey? We are all friends here. We will understand" Madinah chirped in.

Amina was ashamed. She never knew that the news has travelled that far. Why will they ask her something like that?

"I called it off not him. I realized he's a lair and I can't just marry him that way" She said in a very serious tone.

The girls laughed. Aminah must be stupid to think that they believe her 'version of story'. They all know what happened, as Amina has been a lair since she was little.

What happened was she told the guy her dad is a very rich and influential man in their society. She lied to him that she is also running her business in Dubai, which is why she's always out of the county. Topping up with those lies, Amina added that she also has a house and is also a Degree holder in Mass. Communication. All these were lies as Amina dumped her studies and started chasing guys. She can date three to four guys at a time in the name of 'Not knowing who the real man is'.

. So, the guy only liked her because of the money she claimed they have. And when he realized she was lying, he called the wedding off. Amina issa dirty lair!

"That's so so bad" Safinah said between laughter, "why will he lie to you? Poor thing, he shouldn't have lied ai" She added, feigning hurt.

"He's an idiot to think I'll marry a lair like him" Coco said happily thinking they bought her story.

They kept chatting for three more hours before calling the day off. It was indeed a reunion!

She sat in the doctor's office, her gaze on her feet as she move them in an uncomfortable manner.

"Miss Sakinah, why do you want to undergo the therapy?" Doctor Faysal asked looking at her slowly.

"Be...c...ause..i....i...want to...do it" she stuttered, cleared her throat and added "I want to get over my phobia" she added.

He was silent for a while before asking her another question.

"What do you want to gain out of it?" He asked again.

"To be able to control my fears and face my problems heads up" She answered bravely.

"Tell me what your childhood looks like" He asked again as he scrambled something down on his notepad.

And she started talking... recalling her childhood days, her laughs, her cries. Those Happy moments down to the very first day Habeeb used her. As soon as she came to that spot, she stopped, closing her eyes and feeling tears roll down her cheeks. It's painful. It has always been painful and it will always be!

When a rape victim undergoes a therapy, the phobia seems to increase as the victim's insecurity double up making the victim to feel insecure every time. It takes time for the victim to get used to it and start talking in details.

"You can go. Come back next week same time" she told her.
