**** SATURDAY. 7:00AM

HAILEY'S POV

Warmth.

That's what I feel as I snuggle deeper into my big pillow.

The pillow engulfed me and I smile.

Mmmm since when did pillows become so cozy? I snuggle deeper and continue my sweet sleep. 

I feel warm breath tickling my neck and I snuggle more.

"You know, if you keep doing that you're going push me off the bed" 

a deep voice says in my ear.

That voice.

My eyes shoot open and I realise the big pillow was Jason.

I gasp and jump off him.

"J..Jason"

I stutter, trying to fix my messy hair into place.

I hope I look presentable.

"Well good morning to you too"

he smiles at me.. I avert my eyes and look around.

Something seems missing.

"Olivia! Where's she? Olivia!"

I begin to shout but Jason pulls me back to the bed

"Relax . I sent her to Alex's room"

"Why?"

"So I can do this"

he says and claims my mouth with his. Pshh! I pull away immediately.

"I just woke up Jason! I haven't brushed my teeth!"

I cover my mouth but he snatches it.

"Do I look like I care?"

And he smashes his mouth to mine again.

I want to resist.

Come on, Hailey push him away.

Nope kiss him.

No, push him.

Oh hell, I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him back.

He hums in response and urges my mouth open, plunging in his tongue immediately, exploring me.

Oh God.

How can a man's lips make you so weak.

His kisses are strong yet tender, hotter than a furnace and sweeter than vanilla and strawberry combined.

We kiss. And kiss

Jason c*resses my cheeks with his long well sculptured fingers and I shudder.

He's staring at me.

In a way no man ever has.

His stare makes me weak.

"What are you doing to me Jason?"

I breathe and he kisses me in response.

"What are you doing to me Hailey?"

He repeats my words after breaking our kiss.

"My heart. It beats so fast when you're near."

I say and he rests his forehead against mine.

"I wanna explore this new thing blossoming between us Hails. Give me that chance will you?"

I place both hands on his hard chest and nod.

'We could start by going on a date"

"Umm I've never been on a date with anyone before" 

I answer

"Let me be your first then. And last"

he whispers and this time I claim his lips.

He kisses me back immediately.

This is bliss.

During breakfast, Olivia wouldn't let go off me, not for a second.

I'm not complaining.

Not in the least because I love being close to her.

"Mama"

she taps me and I turn to her.

I'll never get used to hearing her calling me that.

"Yes baby?"

She points to the cake we baked yesterday and I gladly give her a slice.

"She hasn't eaten this much food in a long time"

Jason comments from across the table..

"Really?"

"She barely eats"

"Hmm. Well I guess I'm gonna have to stuff you so much that you burst. Right baby?" 

I tickle her and she giggles.

"Where's mom and dad?"

Tess asks her brother, taking a sip of her green tea.

Akex on the other hand was busily munching ferociously on the food before him.

I guess he's one of those guys who take their food too seriously.

"I managed to convince mom to take dad out of the country for a trip"

he answers and she nods.

"Hailey?"

He turns to me

"Yes?"

"Alex will be driving you and Olivia to my cottage at blue gates. You'll stay there till I come get you yeah?"

I want to ask why but I don't.

I just nod and return to feeding Olivia.

I'm scared, but I don't show it.

Somehow for some twisted reason, I trust Jason.

With my life. I know he'll come back for me and so I'll wait, no matter how long it takes.

6:15PM.

THERESA'S POV

I bite my lip anxiously and check my wristwatch one more time.

It's fifteen minutes past six and Alexander is still nowhere in sight.

I sigh and lean against the enormous tree, a few metres away from the park. 

I glance over at the park through my microscope and i see the bulky looking man who was supposed to fight my brother moving about In circles.

I drop the microscope.

If Alex doesn't make it on time,then everything will go down the drain.

Several minutes pass.

It's 6:30 now and still no sign of Alex. Oh Lord.

"Hey!"

Startled, i jump at the sound of the voice.

"What took you so long Alex?"

I hiss.

"Sorry baby, I had to drop off Hailey and Olivia at the cottage before making my way here"

he explains and I blush. Did he just call me baby? Oh stupid! Concentrate!

"Alright then.

. I'll go over now and distract him" 

I say and he nods. 

I stare down the dirty ugly and tattered clothes I was wearing and nod in approval.

"Help. Help. Oh help"

I stagger towards the field.

The man doesn't see me.

He's busily digging something and I squint my eyes.

He stops digging after some time and lifts his hand.

My eyes go wide at the sight of the gun.

So Jason was right.

They wee going to play a foul game.

Seeming to notice my presence,the man quickly gets on his feet and in the blink of an eye,points the gun at me.

Ready to shoot.

"P..please d..don't hurt m..me.. I just need h..help on finding my way h..home"

I say in the most pitiest voice I could master. 

I hope my acting skills are pulling off.

"Get out of here at once before I blow your head off!"

He seethes and I pretend to flinch.

"P..please help m..me. I'm lost"

I sob and his eyes rake over my torn clothes.

Damn, I should take acting as my career.

"Help a woman in distress p..p..please"

The man steps closer to me and studies me suspiciously.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Alex rounding over to stand behind the man aiming at his target.

"Hey lady, get up. You need to leave!!! I don't help stray dogs!"

he crouches down to drag me off the ground.

"Now!"

I shout

"Wha..."

The man's words get cut off when Alex expertly throws the tranquilizer dart as soon as the man turns and it hits his neck.

The man groans and falls down immediately..

"Have fun in sleeping beauty land"

I grin and follow as Alex singlehandedly drags the unconscious man to the van that was parked at a safe distance out of sight.

He drags the man into the van and I wait outside.

Several minutes later a man emerges from the van and I gasp when I realise it's the same man we had striked unconscious.

He's taking long dangerous strides towards me and I back away in fear.

How.. How did he gain consciousnes so soon.. Suddenly the man begins to laugh and I blink rapidly.

That voice.

I blink again

"Alexander?"

"In the flesh"

he responds

"Holy sh*t! You.. I... You..." 

I stutter trying to regain my lost senses.

"I know right. Damn, this thing feels like a glue stuck to my face"

he runs his fingers over his artificial face.

"How do I look?"

He asks turning around.

I allow my eyes to devour his rather bulky stature.

He's wearing the unconscious man's clothes and apart from his voice, one could hardly tell the difference.

Besides it was almost seven pm.

It was dark everywhere and there was little light illuminating the park so no one would notice him.

That's if he doesn't talk much, else his voice will give him away.

"Perfect! You look perfect" 

I grin.

Damn! I'm beginning to appreciate being a rich man's daughter.

Like they say,money talks, bullsh*t works.

Alex takes out the gun the man gun had dropped earlier and unloads all the bullet, replacing them with fake bullets.

"Ready?" 

I ask.

I'm so giddy right now.

It's like I'm reliving a romantic movie where the hero had to disguise himself to save his love.

"Let's go kick some arse!"

Alex bellows walking towards the park to wait for the rest to arrive for the duel to begin.
