Finding Solace - Episode 24

 

Also , you guys are smart, I mean, you actually finished the story yourself, okay, so let’s see what happens next.
NARRATOR’s POV
Noah was restless, the night was taking so long to fall, he needed to complete the ritual fast before Catherine would find out the truth. She was still unconscious, the memories would be flooding back to her bit by bits and by midnight , when she finally turns and  he could complete it by mating with her while she was still tied up. That way, he could control her easily.
He had left her that morning and gone back to his house to pack his things . His blade was with him all along, if Catherine would not cooperate, he might have to end her also.
He still wondered how she had escaped that night, and how she had been in hiding for some months before he finally located her and exposed her. He wondered if she also knew about the cure. Anyways, cure or no care, if she would not cooperate, just the blade smeared with his own blood will end her straightaway.

Yvonne on the other hand was on her way to finding out what happened to Zack. The private detective she had called to follow Fiona that very night. She knew she might want to come back and she needed her to stay away as possible

. She tapped the driver again, in her hand was Fiona’s old phone.
“Are you sure this is the lady ?”
The man nodded, he looked frustrated as he took another look at the woman whose picture was on the screen of the phone.
“Look lady, I told you the same thing I told that young man. I said she was the one. I didn’t take her further than that and she disappeared into the woods. She couldn’t pay me more. I was suspicious of her so I waited and that was when I was met by the other man who was asking me this same question, he said he was a detective and that he was following her. Later that night, we both waited, he was afraid so I stayed with him after he paid me handsomely and gave me your number incase anything happened to him. He later left around some minutes to midnight and never came back, later I saw another man coming out of the woods, carrying the lady in his hands, she looked unconscious. I followed them to the house I am taking you to right now.”
“I believe you. I just needed to be sure.” Yvonne hissed before relaxing again. The night was falling faster and she had no idea Fiona had travelled this far. Zack had texted her last night and that was the last time she heard from him until the driver had called her this morning. She knew something was wrong, especially since his line was no longer reachable. She checked her wrist-watch. It was some minutes past 9.p.m. She would not stay long, she would only go see her, threaten her once more and then give her more money if need be. Then she would go stay in a hotel and return the next day, fully relaxed that she would never hear from her again.
Meanwhile, Fiona was half asleep, half-awake in her past life. The mixture was having a full effect on her. Her legs were both tied up separately and so were her hands. 
She kept turning her hands and fighting to stay fully awake but she couldn’t . She was under the influence of a powerful force and in her unconscious state, she kept watching everything that had happened to her. Everything she had forgotten and in her rightful mind, she was scared to death. 
She could remember herself, she was Catherine Jacobs, she could remember her family, her friends…her home. She could see her entire pack and how everyone worshipped her father. The laughter of her younger brother and the love they all shared. She was like a princess in their community which was in another state, far from there.

. She had ran away from home and had settled at somewhere close. She had been in hiding all these while until the hunters found her and that was when she had ran into Nick.
Something was not right…she had such a loving family and yet she had ran. Why was that scene fuzzy and why did she keep seeing a speeding car and two women, an elderly woman and a younger one. The two she had seen in on eof her dreams  at Nick’s house.
The way they had screamed when the car somersaulted kept ringing in her ears…yet she couldn’t find herself anywhere at the scene….who were they and why did she keep seeing them?
She opened her eyes again. She realized she was still tied up. She inhaled a sharp breath and glanced at the clock on the wall..it was some minutes past 10 pm. That was when she began to hear footsteps climbing the staircase to the room. 
She listened. The beating of the heart was so familiar and not Noah’s. Her eyes sprang up as the door opened. Yvonne walked in as if she owned the place, she moved closer to her, saw she was tied up and then burst into laughter.
