WOW…Quite some comments, I guess we all loved reading it as much as I did @Onyii, thanks , I will definetly check out the movie, thankfully Exams over. Lol. Okay,let’s see what happens next.

NICK’S POV

I starred at her as she tried desperately to cover her nakedness with my jacket. I had to shut my eyes, stood up, turned around, and clasping a hand to my mouth.

This was not happening . Fiona didn’t just magically emerge from the skin of the white wolf. No,no,no. Someone should just bloody wake me up right now!

I turned around, she has worn the jacket fully now, thankfully, her chest was well covered and the jacket was long enough to  cover her butts.

Hell No way! What was I thinking! I was thinking about her nakedness when she just freaking appeared from the wolf-skin or the wolf magically turned into her! God ! I was having a heart attack!

“Nick…” She whispered, trying to stand up, dragging one of her legs slowly, but I stepped further back.

“Do not come close!” I growled. Placing a hand to my chest.

The moon was gone now and the daylight was fast approaching.

. Yvonne wasn’t crazy! She attacked Yvonne!

“You, attacked Yvonne?” I asked, my voice was breaking.

“I am sorry, she pointed a gun at me and my instincts just snapped. I..was just recovering, I didn’t have a control of myself then. I swear, I never meant to hurt her, it happened so fast and I wanted to defend myself….”

My heart was beating rapidly. This was a nightmare!

“So, the driver, you killed him too?”

She looked at me, confused.

“No..I don’t remember but…”

I swallowed and cut in. “What about my mother and sister? Did you kill them too?”

She stared at me in shock.

“I have never killed anyone in my life Nick. Please believe me. My father made sure I didn’t before he died. He wanted us to find the cure. I was there that night when they died, but I didn’t kill them. My father sent me to keep an eye on them when we realized the blood was our cure. By the time I got there, they were dead. I swear Nick. I ran but the hunters saw me instead. I didn’t kill them.” She cried.

My phone rang, it was Rasaq. I stared at Fiona as the phone kept ringing.

“I didn’t kill them Nick, I have never killed anyone. The hunters never knew we were two, they only saw me. Please believe me. I am sorry about Yvonne but I didn’t kill her, I am certain I didn’t but I had to defend myself.”

I looked at her again before picking the call.

FIONA

I desperately hoped he would believe me. I didn’t have much time and I could die at any moment right now.

I was feeling dizzy, I could feel the silver bullet hitting my very core and spreading the poison fast all over my body. I shut my eyes, I could already sense the beating of my heart as it slowed down.

The phone started ringing again and this time he picked.

“Hello, Rasaq, yea,I am fine. I got home safely. No…no sign of Fiona..yet.”

I gave an exasperated sigh.

“Thank you” I managed to say and then he drew closer, bending beside me.

“I still cannot believe this is happening Fi. I mean, this is so crazy.” He said, brushing the hair from my face slightly .

“So, if you didn’t kill my parents, who did?” He asked, and I opened my eyes slightly…

“I…don’t know yet….but Nick, Noah is the other wolf. I think he was the one who killed your parents”

He gasped.

“Oh, my God! I cannot believe this. So he has been spying on you all these while , no wonder he was so interested in you.” He gasped again. “He tried to kill me! Why?”

“Because you are a threat to his dream of creating a new pack.” I replied weakly.

“A threat? How? I am human for Gods sake.”

“Yes, but your blood is our solace.”

“Oh.” He retorted,standing up.  “So the stories were true.”

“What stories?”

“My grandpa used to tell us there is something unique about our bloodline , I just never believed. SO that was why  my mom and sister were killed.”

I nodded. “It will make perfect sense.”

“So, the hunters do not know you are two?”

I shook my head. “No. When I left your mother and sister, I went back home, it’s not very far from here for a wolf though. By the time I got back, everyone I knew were dead. My father…I peeped through the window, they all thought he brought the cure, instead it was poison, I watched them slumped while he stood and watched, my father signaled to me to run. I did. I hid in the woods for months. Trying to hide from the hunters. I don’t know how they found me, they attacked me that night I got hit by your car.

. That was when I knew, one of us must still be alive because we can only track each other. There is something in all our blood, connected with technology. My father invented it so we can find each other anytime any of us is in trouble. Noah used that to find me. I think he was the one who lilled them and your family too.”

Nick was quiet. “ Now, that idiot knows where I live.”

I was panting now, I was using all of my strength.

 “Oh..my God. You are hurt. Why didn’t you tell me?” He said before putting my arm around his shoulders and lifting me up in his arms.

I felt so weird being so naked and so close to him.

“Please, Nick, do you believe me? Because if you do not believe me, I am as good as dead.” I said, starring into his eyes.

He caressed my cheek and kissed my forehead. “I trust you, now let’s get you some help, little she-wolf.”

“This is so weird.” I said with a chuckle as he lifted me.

He smiled as he carried me out of the wood. “Come to think of it, all the times we called ourselves names, we never used ‘wolf’”

I laughed weakly. “Well, maybe it was a good thing.”

“Well, you really made such a beautiful she-wolf.” He said with a laughter.

The sound of which gave me comfort.

“I missed you Nick, I think it’s okay for me to die now.”

“If you die on me Fi, I will find you and kill you myself.”

We both laughed before I drifted into nothingness.
