Adele - Episode 1

 

"Smash it harder and faster!" Whispered adele, "at the rate you are going we will not escape from this hell hole any time soon". Her companion for a moment stopped, and gave her an angry look, "why dont you come over here and join me instead of using your mouth to do it," she hissed. Adele just shrugged it off,  After what seems like eons  a part of the wall crumbled, adele almost screamed with joy but at the danger of being find out she stopped . They both stepped out through the space they have created, and took to their heels.

. Outside was swimming with police cars, adele and her companion were lucky to find an abandoned car, but the problem now is that they cant drive, as they were both thinking of what next to do, they heard a gun click behind them.."Gottcha!" The voice said...
   The alarm gave a shrilling sound and adele jerked out of her sleep, she looked around her to be certain of where she is, it is still her clustered room and then she remembered that all that happened was just in her dream. 'I must stop watching all those terrifying movies at night' she said out loud, "And to think we cannot escape because we cant drive", she hissed.
She left the warmth of her bed and walked towards her window to take a look outside and breath in the fresh morning air, she stretched her body and yawn, and then starts thinking of her plans for the day, she has an appointment for a job interview by 12pm, adele moved towards her wardrobe and brought out a purple gown for inspection, the silky gown reached her knee and looks chic and smart whenever she wears it, and brings out her nice figure,  Twenty-five year old  adele has a body men will give a second glance, she is slim, fair in complexion, with a beautiful oval face, her eyes has a way of drawing people in when you look into them, her dimple comes out when she smiles, and those gap-tooth makes it complete

. At 5'5 her height is just the perfect size.
      Adele put a finishing touch on her make- up, and slip on a low heel black baby doll shoe, she took out her perfume and sigh, the perfume will soon finish and there is no money to buy a new one at the moment, she needs alot of things thats why she is really hoping and praying to get the job. She graduated two years ago, and after her national youth service, she has lost count of the number of times she had applied for jobs in different companies, attending interviews, sending out her cv through mail is an everyday thing for her. She is getting seriously fustrated, this job will have to pave through, for the meager amount that remains in her bank account will not be there for long.
  For a moment adele wish her parents were still alive, loosing them when she was still at the tender age of ten in a car accident was a terrible blow to both families, and being the only child her father's younger sister took her in, after alot of family meetings from the extended family and she became part of aunty bibiola's  family. The family have being like her own family.
Adele phone starts ringing, it a call from tiwalade her bestfriend, she pressed the answer button."hello girlfriend" Tiwa said, "am fine o" adele replied, "hope you are dressed and ready, abi you never bath yet" tiwa asked, adele laughed "tiwa! you and this your mother hen attitude, anyway am ready i was just on my way out when your call came through". "okay then, i wish you goodluck, may you be favoured" tiwa prayed. "amen dearie, and thanks, promise to call and gist you how it goes once am through, love you bye" adele smiled as the call ended, and step out of her room with her handbag which contained all the neccessary document that may be required at the interview, and walked to the sitting room where bibiola was watching a movie. 
  "Aunty, am heading out for that job interview i told you about" adele told bibiola, who was engrossed in the movie she was watching. "okay, dear wish you luck, i will take the kids from school, so dont bother". Adele usually picks the two kids of her aunty from school, since aunty bibiola is a banker and she comes home late, and her husband a business contractor comes home on weekends, it adele that is saddled with the job of taking tola and tolu from school, while their mum drop them off in school every morning. But bibiola is now on three weeks leave so she takes them from school when the need arises like today.
"alright ma" adele replied, as she stepped out of the house.
