I don’t like her and I don’t like that fact but I just don’t!
There is something about that lady and I just can’t shake it off and why is she so interested in him? Perhaps, she needs someone to fill up the time that her busy rich husband is not always around!
“Move your shit off the road asshole!” I shouted at the car in front of me. It was a busy road today in Abuja and everyone was finding all means necessary to get ahead….
I pulled the brake so fast and then changed the gear simultaneously, then I hit the pedals and swerved to the left so carefully as not to hit the idiot that was infront of me . Now he or she was behind me, I wouldn’t know as her windows were up. Even with all my effort, I still had to slow down for the traffic-light showed ‘red’.
I almost cursed under my breath.
This country hasn’t changed still.
I was born here until father was transferred to Georgia so I left with him, that was when I was just seven. I love this place and I started working on starting an hospital here but my father doesn’t know that…not yet

. He had thought I came for an interview then, whereas, I came to find a good location.
It’s just all so funny as the building had caught my interest. It was the perfect building for an hospital. I had made enquiries about it when I liked it but no one knew who owned it until I made up my mind to go check myself.
I realized no one came to the place during the day except in the night, a set of three cars, one dark blue, one white and one was silver. So I decided to go in the night but that night it was just the silver car that was there.
I was just trying to get out of the car when I noticed the lights were out. Of course I was startled and some minutes later the white car was driving out of the house, that white car came out of nowhere because it wasn't there before...well maybe, I just didn't see it. Shortly after, I started hearing banging and a call for help.

. I panicked. I didn’t leave my car, instead I did a quick reverse to be on my way until two loud gunshots were heard and then the other car drove out. I began to contemplate whether to go in or not. I was sure they didn’t spot me because it was dark. While I was doing that, the building went up in flames.
That minute, I knew someone was inside there and that was how I went there and found the guy by the door, lying down, the heat was so strong and the flame was already getting to him so I just removed my jacket and covered him with it. I used to hit the gym very well then so I was so strong. I was able to pull him out but not after the fire had done enough damage, worse, whoever had done the work had carefully poured an acid on his face so he would be unrecognizable!
Thank God! The traffic light showed green but I was late, the ‘asshole’ I had shouted on was now side by side with me and the windows were rolled down. In it was an elderly woman and a young fine looking man who was just smiling at me.
The woman was the one driving and I almost melted into my seat when she said….
“Na your papa be asshole! Stupid child of the devil! All these younger generation lack respect so much! You will all go to hell! Children of Belial!” Then she continued driving while raining all sorts of curses on me.
The guy in the car was sitting beside her and he looked so amused but my tongue was tied and I had to let few other cars go before I started the engine!
I sighed. Well, I am in Africa! I deserved that!
It was some minutes after six already, I needed to go get him out of that place. If the Lyon bought the place before the incident, then Anika must definitely know about the whole incidence. Damn it! I knew this was a lion’s den all the while! Whatever happened, I will find out!
