“Thank you so much for everything Shrek. I can never thank you enough.”

“Oh! Stop thanking him Vincent, he got paid didn’t he?” Lisa retorted.

“Girl! Why are you not nice to me?” Shrek asked, stretching his legs on the settee.

He and Fred had a laptop each before them.

“That was the last person right?” Shrek asked.

“Yea. I just wired 2 million naira to him.” Fred replied. He and Shrek have been working for the past one week in contacting everyone that had their artworks stolen by Tommy. They found the file in his office which has  now become the Benson’s Gallery.

The phone in Lisa’s hand rang and she picked it. “Yes, this is the Benson’s gallery…okay you got the alert, you are welcome. Do not forget that you are free to come show off your work anytime according to the document you signed. Alright. You are welcome.” Then she hanged up.

“Thank God that’s the last one. I can never survive as a secretary.You need to start hiring Vincent.”

“His name is Fred now..girl!” Shrek put in.

“Mind your business…boy. I gave him the name and that’s what Im sticking with

Vincent only laughed. “Leave Lisa alone Shrek. What is your problem. Yes I will soon start hiring. Will find someone to take care of the company for me. Doctor Randy is helping with that actually. I can’t stay here after my wedding.”

“Why not?” Lisa asked.

“Because I have always wanted a house by the lake.  I got one in South Africa and I think Anika would love it.”

“Really ? South Africa?”

Vincent nodded. “ Yes.By the way, this is for you.” He handed her an envelope.

Lisa opened it , in it was a disc, titled…”Project Vincent”

“What is this?” She asked.

“That was compiled by Doctor Randy, myself and Shrek.Once you submit this, you are officially through with your project, you get the award you have always wanted and you get the licence you have always desired too”

Lisa couldn’t believe her ears. “Oh my God! I thought ..i thought….” She flung herself on Vincent. “Thank you so much. You just made my dream come true.”

“It’s nothing compared to what you have done for me Lisa.”

Just then little Freddie rushed in with his drawing tools….

“Hey Vincent look …I mean…daddy.” He corrected himself blushing. The grown ups in the room smiled. “ I drew mummy when she was talking.

Vincent looked at the picture that looked like a stick with two legs….
“Oh! She really is! You are so talented sweetheart. You will even be greater than me. But now, I want you to play, have fun, enjoy your childhood, chase girls around..okay?”

The boy nodded.

“Chase girls around?” Lisa asked again.

“Yea,,,like Lisa here.” Shrek put in, laughing but Lisa knocked the face cap so hard it fell off his head.

“Where is your mum?” Vincent asked…

“She is at the reception.” The boy replied.

“Okay. Excuse me.” Vincent left with his son.

“So how about my proposal Lisa?” Shrek asked, standing up and moving closer to Lisa who eyed him.

“I am not interested and I am still thinking about it”

“We will be so good together ..I promise…..”

Lisa looked at him….then shook her head, “No.”

“Come on…I promise I will make you so happy….”

“Ask me after the wedding and make sure I am very drunk when you ask me…” Lisa replied, laughing at him.

“You are so mean!”

“I know.”

“Hi angel?”

Anika looked up as Vincent walked in.

“Hello you too.” She replied as they kissed.

“What are you doing?”

“Just going through these offshore accounts that I and Tommy had. The money is still so much out there. It will last us a life time Fred.”

Vincent smiled. “That is a good thing. Has your designer finished with the sowing?”

“Yea, my wedding gown will be ready by tomorrow.”

“I asked Lisa to be my bridesmaid…”

“really? What did she say?”

“She said yes.”

“Wow! That is so cool.”

“So, are you ready to be married to the love of your life Mrs Benson?”

“Yes Mr Benson, I am ready when you are….”
