I sit up in bed and I stretch my joints.. Wow.. That hurts, I can't believe lying in bed al day doing nothing can hurt this much. 

I climb down from my high bed slip on my flip flops as I tie my tiny night dress robe. 

I think I have to tell mom to order another one, this one is getting too short. 

I walk to the bathroom and I pick up my electric toothbrush, it's past midnight.. Just the way I like my day to start. 

I glance at my reflection in the mirror and I quickly look away. . No need to see if you look okay adee, you don't deserve to. 

I wipe my face and I get into the bathtub, filling it with water and sit inside, I grab the tab besides it and begin to watch videos of cats on YouTube. 

It's the only guilty pleasure I allow myself. 

After I begin to feel like a prune I dry myself and don a robe. 

I walk downstairs to find something to eat, noodles probably, I don't know how to cook so I think I have to eat it uncooked. 

Mom sent the housekeepers away when I rebelled against marrying Levi Carter (only heaven knows who he is), I don't care to get married.. No, I don't care to get married to someone formerly promised to dead twin sister. 

I grab the noodle packet and I go to sit on the ground in front of the couch and I tune on the TV , to the home channel. 

The lady is cooking something that looks like beef and sauce, my stomach growls, I haven't had anything to eat for a while. 

I swallow my saliva and my stomach growls again.

Maybe mom lifted the restrictions on the channels, I look on and suddenly it seems the male is trying to suck on the female's face. 

Eww, what are they doing? Are they exchanging saliva? Eww. 

I tune off into a cartoon channel because I'm getting disgusted by the way they are going at it. 

I push my noodle packet away and I quietly watch my cartoon, my mind not even drifting,that's how engrossed I am..

Soon, after a while my eyes flies open when my phone dings. 

I must have fallen asleep,it's morning already, I grab my phone and it's... 

It's a text? 

Wai... 

What? 

A text? 

I don't get texts. 

I swipe the screen of the phone and I see a message. 

Hello Adélie, this is Levi Carter, I would really like us to meet, I think we have much to discuss about our upcoming nuptials right.? I'm going to attach an address in the next text, I hope to see you, please, no pressure. 

I almost swallow my tongue as I fling the phone across the room, it lands on a chair softly. 

Levi Carter wants to see me? I don't even know him. 

That's not even a problem, how do I go out to see him? I don't go out.. I dont! 

I almost slap myself. 

Be strong Adee, Be strong!. You have to go meet this man and make it clear to him that you don't want to marry him.

I've been standing at this spot for a while now and no one has approached me. 

Did he change his mind? I assume since he wants us to meet then he must know how I look like. 

Foolish me didn't bring my phone, someone bumps into me in the busy street and I gasp. 

It's getting harder and harder to stand here. 

I don't do well in crowds. 

Oh God. 

What made me think I could do this? 

I turn around in a circle and I loose my footing as I begin to panic, I bump into someone and the person shouts. 

"Watch it!" 

"I'm.. I'm.. I'm... I'm..

I take a step back and bump into someone else, I get pushed around and I feel my hand shaking.. I bite my lip and I feel the tang of blood.

I keep getting pushed and somehow I end up in front of a restaurant, it looks peaceful inside and I enter. 

I see an empty seat and I seat, placing my head on the cool surface of the table. The therapist told me to take in deep breath when I get panic attacks like this. 

I scream when someone taps on the table, it's a guy, he looks startled too, people turn to stare and I duck my head. 

"I'm sorry ma'am, can I take your order?" He asks softly and I frown. 

"Order?" I ask and he hands me a book and I see it's filled with different name of dishes. 

I've calmed down enough to actually read the words on it. 

Wow.. The people here are so kind, they give free food, my stomach growls and I get reminded that I haven't had anything to eat today. 

I look at the top of the list and it's... 

"Ste... Steak" I whisper and he nods. 

"With what ma'am?" 

"With what?" 

"Potatoes?" He asks and I nod. 

"Ok ma'am, it's gonna me right out.. Someone's gonna be out with a bread basket soon, I assume you will be wanting olive oil to go with that?" He asks and I nod. 

Wow, the people here are so kind.

I loosen my scarf and drop it on the table, my purse follows. 

I sit back and wait for my free meal,although Levi Carter stood me up something good will come out of today. 

Free food!

Remember, she hasn't be out of the house for 14 years.
