Tomorrow - Episode 2
Tomorrow
Now that day is over,
Night is drawing near,
Shadows of the living,

This was the song of Jason and his classmates, a joyful song every child cherished to sing because it sounded like a freedom song.
Mama, as Jason calls her had enrolled him in the village primary school after he had patiently waited for his hand to touch his ear at age 5. Jason was a brilliant Boy and he had this force of attraction that made his teachers and the villagers to like him, every parent wants their children to associate with him.
At the end of the session he came out as the best overall pupils in primary one, promoted to primary two in flying colours
. His success brought more attention to him as he was called out on the prize giving day to receive his prize. Jason made a lot of money from different people that came out to spray him when he was called out. He was sure certain that Mama will prepare rice and stew to celebrate his success because to him such delicacies are only prepared to celebrate success or festival.
Rose who only visits once in a blue moon, although she never fails to send Christmas and New year's clothes to him. This was part of the reasons Jason was always excited when approaching Christmas and the dawn of a new year along side the foods and Age group movement from one house to another to eat and probably get money in the process

. This was a tradition every child in the village always looked out for, she heard of her son's success and she was so proud of him. The pupils all went on vacation.
The long holiday was finally over, Jason resumed primary two with new chair, slate and school bag bought by his Mum who he knew as his Aunty. The school headmistress addressd all the pupils on the assembly ground that morning briefing them on the new development that will occur during the first term and she also welcomed the new primary one pupils urging them to be good and follow the great example laid by the pioneers of The village primary school referring to Jason's class. After the headmistress exultation, Jason who was standing with the school bands was amazed with her headmistress exultation, they started druming as all the pupils matched into their classes.
The pupils were all excited to see each other after a long holiday. An election was conducted for a new class prefect, which he won outrightly with 70% of the class votes. This made the headmistress happy as it reaffirms her trust in him. Earlier on she had given him permission to clean her desk every morning due to the level of trust she had in him.
Jason grandmum was well known as a village trader, dancer and a singer during traditional rituals and festivals. This prompted p Jason to joined the school traditional dancerss, even though he was the only boy, shame or shyness were buried under his foot.
He was always left in the care of one family or the other to wait for his grandmum after school. On this faithful day while playing after school, Aunty Chi called him and immediately his mind flashes back to a week ago that the grandmum travelled and was left in her care. At night he felt her hand playing with his private part, he could not say anything to her. He yielded to her call opened the door and she was lying naked on the bed.
