Walking into the class i was directed to, i look around searching for
my target, the sole reason why i came to this school.TESSY OGELEKA.I
even got my self purposely expelled just to be here with her.Dnt
misunderstand, this is not because i like her and want to be with
her.No.Its the complete opposite.I am here for my mother.To revenge
her death and make tessy's life miserable just like her mother made my
life miserable. My mother overdosed on her sleeping pills two months
ago because of depression caused by my father's affair with tehila,
tessy mother.He was going to divorce her and she couldnt take it.Now
she's dead and nobody cares.my father certainly doesnt, because if he
did, he would not have brought tehila to my mother's burial!.
Last week he had told me that tehila would be moving into our house
with her two children . Am sure they are ecstatic about living at our
house because who wouldn't?
Our house is a duplex with everything anyone could dream of.A
standard swimming pool, jacuzzi and so on. My dad is a very contractor
and am sure that's the reason why tehila cant stay away and now, she
wants to bring her two children to live at our house

. The house my mom
laboured with my dad to build. No way!. My mom loved that house and i
won't let them be comfortable in it. They think they can just come and
reap where they didn't sow. They don't know what's coming their way.
The class had gotten quiet when i entered. They are probably
wondering who i am and why i joined them when this was the last year
as Normally, the school doesn't admit new students in ss three but my
dad's influence and money persuaded them. Well let them wonder. I am
not here for them. I am not even here to learn. I have already written
my waec last year when i was in ss two, so now i don't need to
concentrate on anything but my revenge on tehila and her children.
Still looking around the class to try and figure who tessy is, my
eyes meets the most beautiful girl i have ever seen. She's alone at
her desk and she is looking at me.
Looking at her makes something in me melt."this isn't why you are
here" i chastise myself. But i cant stop my self. My feet just starts
moving towards her. She looks perplex as i walk towards her but then
she turns to look at someone at the class entrance. I also turn as the
girl at the door smiles and calls her TESSY. She just called my angel
TESSY!. "wait, did i just refer to her as my angel? What is wrong with
me? If she is tessy, then she definitely not an angel but a gold
digger like her mother". I turn to look at the beautiful girl again
and then i see the resemblance. She has tehila's nose. Its
unmistakable now that i notice it.

Its straight and pointed like a foreigner's.
I cant believe i was thinking of tehila's daughter as beautiful.
Hell! I was even going to chat with her.
"excuse me, can we help you?" the girl with tessy asks me.
"what?" i say confuse
"you have been standing here in a dreamlike state staring at my
friend. By the way, are you new here?. I haven't seen you before"
"yes, i am new and.." i try to make an excuse but she cuts me shut.
"so why were you looking at tessy like that?... Wait!" she screams "do
you like her?!".
Her scream makes the whole class look at us. I can't let tehila's
daughter think i like her so i steel my self, look straight into
tessy eyes as i laugh loudly.
"i didn't realise i was staring. I was just wondering how she looks so
much like a bony fish i watched on Nat geo wild just yesterday. I
definitely won't like a ugly bony fish even when its a part of my
meal". I say for the whole class to hear as i walk away. This was just
the beginning. Let the game begin!
