The Twist - Episode 24
Jake came out of the house and stared at the Jaguar for the first time.
The sight took off his breath for some seconds.
He felt an electric shock Wave all over his body.
What a marvelous car! Jake thought.
He came near the car and examined the body.
It was streamlined.
Just like the twin coloured Rolls Royce that parked a few meters away from it.
Jake rushed and opened the gate.
He then returned back to the car and stared at the interior, he saw the key in the ignition and the red padded leather smell new with a little touch of oak on the dash board.
He slowly opened the door, lowered himself on the comfortable seat and started the engine. He heard a faint sound, only the bright yellow light on the speedometer told him the car was on.
He eased the gear to DRIVE and the car sailed out of the compound down the road. The car drove itself.
Entirely computerized.
As he raced along the express road, a thought occurred to him.
He swung the car towards a boutique and parked in the parking lot.
He need to change his wardrobes and the bulging currency in his trousers needed to be reduced.
He bought different types of clothes and 2 pair of black shoes with a leather wrist watch.
He tossed the purchase in the back seat and drove straight to the road leading to his house.
When he reached home, he parked the car near a super market in front of his apartment and walked towards his room feeling elated.
He opened the door and froze at the sight of a girl lying on her bed.
She had only a towel and some part of the towel had been carelessly opened, exposing the greater parts of her body.
Jake drew closer and saw her face. "Ruby" he called her.
She was in a deep sleep.
Jake sat near her on the edge of the bed and tried in vain not to stare at the enticing flesh.
A couple of hours ago he was not in the mood to touch anybody but looking at his girlfriend now, so many sweet imaginations flowed in his brain.
He slowly removed his clothes and sneaked under her arms; wrapping himself in.
She stirred and opened her eyes. He could smell his body wash on her hair and he loved the feminine scent that oozes from her.
"Jake, you are back so early"
Ruby said and smudged herself closer to him.
Jake kissed her and rubbed his palm on her bare back.
Ruby responded the kiss, c*ressing his hair and neck.
Jake trailed his tongue down to her chest and her mouth parted in a silent sigh.
This is what she loved so much about Jake.
He knew how to fire up a girl into the mood.
The sweetness was something else.
They made love as one body and soul.
Jake collapsed on top of her.
Panting and fighting for breath.
This was so unusual to Ruby.
The Jake she knew will be still strong and ready for a marathon race after his first round.
She needs to do something quick.
She slowly withdrew herself under him and rushed to the kitchen to get him a glass of water.
He managed to drink it and fall back on the bed.
His chest raising and falling rapidly as he fought to regain his breath.
"Its like you had a rough day at the restaurant today"
He did not answer, he only stared at her and closed his eyes as his breath lessened.
How is he going to tell Ruby that he spent the greater part of the day sweating on top of insatiable Amaka? He knew Ruby will understand if she sees the money but telling her he did it before coming back to her is heartbreaking.
Ruby on her own part was afraid of upsetting Jake with her tale.
Maybe she will forget about telling Jake the truth and live with it.
She will quit and look for another job.
She had saved a little money to hold both of them on until she finds another job.
If he became inquisitive she will give him another excuse for her action.
Yes, it is better to let the sleeping dog lie.
No need complicating issues for him.
She loved Jake so much and will like to spend the rest of her life with him.
She watched him drift into a peaceful sleep and gently covered him with the blanket....
