"Oh really? All men cheat. I have come to accept it", she said.

"Well, that's not what I believe in. All men don't cheat", I replied.

"All these are pretense. You'll still cheat on Funmi, I know", she said. I looked at her with scorn, picked up my phone and left . I left her in the sitting room and entered my room. I made sure my room door was locked before I slept, so she wouldn't enter. I wasn't ready to bear any responsibility that might occur as a result of her move. She left the next day, before I went to work.

********************************************
Femi had gotten married, and his wife delivered a child already. Dozie was still a bachelor. I was planning my wedding with Funmi. I suggested we do it in a little way, but she didn't agree. She wanted a bigger wedding. I agreed on whatever she wants. We did traditional wedding earlier in the month.

Some few weeks to our wedding, Funmi introduced me to the wedding planner. We agreed I'd finance our non-personal weeding needs like paying the wedding planners and other non personal stuffs. She paid for the wedding clothes. Dozie was the best man, while Bella was the chief bridesmaid.

On that day, we were impressed by the wedding planners arrangement after she had sent pictures on how the venue was decorated

. Funmi had her long flowing white gown and veil that covered her face. She looked like those fairy tale princess, I grew up to know about. She was led by her father, while I stayed at the front of the alter smiling. They walked down the aisle slowly, while I smiled endlessly. I looked at the side of the pew, Ms. Awoyemi face was filled with smiles. Immediately, they got close, her father handed her over to me. We held hands and let out huge grins.

The priest positioned himself closely and looked at us one after the other.

"Afam, do you take Funmi as your lovely wedded wife? In health and in sickness? In rich and in poor? In good and bad times? Until death do you part", the priest asked.

"I do!", I shouted in a reply. Everybody in the church laughed and started clapping. The same question was thrown at Funmi and she replied. After that, we locked lips and other necessary wedding rituals were performed. We all danced and walked to the car outside after we were done with church activities. Dozie and Bella joined us in a bridal limousine courtesy Ms. Awoyemi. Ms. Awoyemi supported me with huge amount of money. I thought she wouldn't be happy that I was getting married and she had finally lost me. The other cars that followed, carried the bridesmaid and groomsmen. We got to the reception Hall, and had a grand entrance. The DJ played some traditional welcome wedding songs. I was lost in Funmi's euphoria as she danced really hard. I didn't know how to dance. Dozie and some other groomsmen took the day with their dancing skills. We got to the tent made for us, and both sat down. The event MC came with his talks, the comedian, the spoken word artists and other performers thrilled the audience. I was lost in the congratulatory messages that I had to wish the event ended quickly, so I'd get a rest. When the event ended, I breathed well. Everybody dispersed, and I entered the hotel room with Funmi. She removed her wedding gown and tied a towel around her waist, entered the bathroom to have her bath. I removed my suit, loosened my shirt and pulled my trouser, then joined her in the bathroom.
After we were done, she wore a lingerie, I had only a brief on, light was switched off and we laid on the bed. We had sex that night in straight hours. The next morning, we embarked on our honey moon tour. Our first stop was Ghana and then south Africa. Before we left, the hotel we rented, had a free treat for us. After we were done eating what they provided, we quickly parked our things to catch the 12:00PM flight to Accra.

. I checked my wrist watch and it was 11:20AM. It was twenty minutes drive to Muritala Muhammed Airport if there was no traffic congestion.

"Oh, I forgot something in the hotel room we used", I said and handed my phone over to Funmi. I scurried to the room and before five minutes exceeded, I was back. I noticed Funmi's facial demeanor was different.

"Hey dear, what's the problem?", I asked.

"Nothing, let's go", she handed my phone over to me and picked her suitcase up and kept walking to the car outside. I stared at her confused, and picked up my own suitcase and followed her. The driver opened the car door for us and we walked in. A security personnel took our suitcases and placed them inside the boots. I gazed at Funmi's face, and she wasn't looking at me. I checked my call log and an unknown number called. A number I didn't save.

"Hey dear, someone called and you didn't tell me?", I asked her. I knew I didn't pick any other call after a colleague at work called.
