The Dormitory (A Sequel) - Episode 6
The next day, Oyindamola was standing in front of Mrs. Coker in her office. Mrs. Coker sat on a chair, while she arranged her files on the desk. When she was done, she raised her head up and fixated at Oyindamola.
"You scared everyone last night. What's the problem?"
"It was just a dream. Nothing else," Oyindamola said while her eyes watered in tears.
"I know it was a dream. But I'm sure it's not just an ordinary dream. When you woke up, you acted all strange like you were seeing a trance. I just pray all is fine."
"All is fine, MA" Oyindamola said and tried to conceal the tears. Mrs. Coker stared at her before dismissing her. It was during the break hour. She walked through the corridor of Mrs. Coker's office. The hostel matrons shared the same office in a bungalow built at the side of the dining rooms. Oyindamola brushed her self to the wall and tears dripped down from her eyes repeatedly. She looked left and right and no one was at sight. At the far end, were pupils playing and going on with their normal break time activities. She allowed the tears to flow slowly while she cried in her heart. She noticed a quick flash of light at her back

. She wiped away the tears from her eyes and looked back. She didn't see anybody. She assumed the electric bulb came on and went off. She turned to walk away immediately, and she saw Sheila looking at her in a pity. She felt embarrassed and wanted to walk away.
"Hey, Oyin. How are you?" She said in a low hushed voice. Oyindamola heard her but pretended she didn't. She walked away because she felt embarrassed. She walked into the class and stayed with Ngozi while they chattered away.

"Dolapo! Dolapo!!" Bimpe called twice. Her husband had gone to work leaving her at home, while she prepared to hang out with her friend, Shade. Shade was a single mother of one and owned the biggest club in Lagos, Club 46, where rich people from different walks of life come to drink, have events and funs. She was in the same age bracket with Bimpe. They were almost at their sixties.
"Ma!" She replied and walked into the room.
"I noticed the bottled water in the refrigerator has finished and you didn't tell anyone," Bimpe said.
"I am so sorry, Ma," Dolapo replied. Bimpe handed a one thousand naira note to her, "Get a packet of ordinary a bottled water and two cold one, I'm so thirsty."
"All right, Ma" Dolapo said and walked out of the room. Bimpe lifted the mirror she kept on the bed, positioned it to her face and continued to apply her make-up. She wanted to look good for the younger boys that will step into the club when she is around. She had told Shade how her husband doesn't satisfy her again, and Shade promised to introduce her to a gigolo.
Few minutes after Dolapo had left, she noticed an unnecessary noise inside her wardrobe. She ignored and continued concentrating on what she was doing. The noise persisted. Her wardrobe continued shaking without a stop like it wanted to pull off from the wall. Everything in the wardrobe weren't in places again. Bimpe dropped her mirror and hissed.
"Sheila, enough of your gimmicks. I killed you long ago. You are dead. I'm not scared of you. I have been living that life you have always craved. Do your worst," she barked. Immediately, the noise stopped. She heard unpleasant noises in the sitting room. She looked through her door and saw a girl running around the sofa while a lady chased her. She laughed in an uncanny way while she ran. The woman caught her and they both fell on the sofa laughing hysterically.
"Jesus, who are these?" Bimpe asked herself.

. She stood up and walked slowly to the door. The little girl saw Bimpe first.
"Mummy, see her," she yelled, stretched her body and disappeared.
"No!! You killed my daughter," the woman raised her head up. Her eye balls were sunken. She had numerous marks on her face like someone that was battered. She sprouted her claws and was ready to devour. Bimpe screeched as she ran back to her bed to cover herself with the bedspread; she doesn't want to see the scary creature. A spirit hovered out of the wardrobe like a wave, and challenged the scary looking woman.
"You can't just kill her. She is mine to torment, not yours," Bimpe heard the voice said, and other numerous noises all over room while she was still covered in the bed..
"Nooooo!!!" Bimpe cried.
"What's the problem," she heard Dolapo's voice asked. She opened her eyes and it was Dolapo.
"I hope all is fine, Madam" Dolapo asked.
"I am fine," she stretched her hand, took the bottled water from Dolapo and drank it. She took her bag without completing her make-up and dashed out of the house. "I don't care about how i look, take care of the house," she blurted.
