KATHIA

It was a beautiful morning, probably the sweetest morning. I was happy for the first time...I was in love and it felt so beautiful inside me...

I was still lying in bed, my arm wasn't hurting anymore..a little but not like yesterday.

"Hey...gorgeous"

I smiled as I heard his voice behind me.

"Hi" I replied, turning to lie on my back.

He was carrying a tray which he placed on the table beside me . Then he bent to kiss me.

This felt too good to be true..could this really be happening ...with Miguel..

"How is your arm" He asked, now sitting beside me and holding my hand in his.

"It's better" I said  with a smile.

We were silent as we looked at each other..I felt suddenly shy and I looked away..

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked, not meeting his gaze.

He sighed and kissed my palm.."Because I don't know why it took so long to realise how much I have fallen under your charm..Damn! You even look more beautiful in the morning"

I grinned shyly.

"I brought you some food and some meds from Maimunat..you should sit up. "

I managed to sit up and he handed me the cup of tea.

"We are leaving today Kat

. Father's feast is tomorrow and the bridge is okay now"

"Wow! "

"I know"

"SO, we need to leave on time ..I really cannot wait to go home after one year.." He caressed my cheek..looking into my eyes. "I really wanna surprise father and tell him I am in love with my wife"

I smiled..that felt so good...

"Even my brother would be surprised...I do not care actually..I just want the world to know I am inlove with you. So hurry up, I would have to take your bathe this time."

I laughed out.

. "No way Miguel!"

"Oh baby! This is pay back time! You remember what you made me go through?"

"I was not so mean you know. You were stubborn and I can be quite cooperative unlike you"

He smiled and growled. "We will see about that sweetheart" He replied and gathered me in his arm..planting a million kisses on my forehead...

We got back to the cabin some hours later after bidding everyone farewell. Just as the boat hit the shore, Miguel carried me in his arms..I was so surprised.

"I want to prove to you that I can be very caring than you are"

I laughed as I put my arms around his neck so as to be balanced while he took us out of the boat.

"Look at you! Must everything be a competition for you Miguel?"

"Tell me you do not like it" He replied as we were finally out of the boat.

"I do not like it" I replied stubbornly.

"Then I would just drop you inside the water!"

I clung tightly to his neck laughing as he threatened playfully ..loosening his grip on  me.

"Please, please please, okay, i like it okay..!"

"You said what?"

"I love it "

"Better!" He replied as he walked out of the water and carefully put me on the ground. I made to knock his head but he dodged causing me to  almost loose my balance but he caught me in his arms. His hands banded around my hips possessively, pulling me closer to him. I heard his intake of breath as our hips touched and the space between us disappeared.

"I want you" He murmured before he dipped down to claim my lips .

It was a passionate kiss, hard and deep , making me long for more..the delicious warmth of his body, the gentle bite of his teeth, the slow licks of his tongue.

I was lost,,in a world with him alone and I didn't wanna come back. My body responded as I dipped my hand into his hair...

Just then we had a cough and he slowed down..breathing fast..

"Im sorry my lady, my prince but we need to go before its late"

I flushed in embarrassment  as I heard Musa's voice but Miguel didn't let go of me, instead he planted more kisses on my neck before he breathed into my ear..

"Sorry about that Love..we shall continue where we stopped"

I smiled and licked my lips. "You go in, I would join you"

"Okay" 

He exchanged pleasantries with Joe before going in.

Now it was just myself and Musa.

"Oh my God! My lady ! You did it! I cannot believe you actually have him!"

I smiled. 'Quiet Joe!"

"I am so happy, now my family and I can relax..thank you so much! WOW! It is true what they say"

I chuckled. "What do they say Joe?"

"To never underestimate the power of a woman"

I laughed.

"Let me go prepare Joe"

"Yes my lady"
