Corper, wetin happen? Ibrahim dropped his water and came into the river to see what made me screamed. Allah! Ibrahim screamed when he saw a body floating on the water laying just beside the bush.
Yemi: Ibrahim, come and help me carry him
I walked in the water to where the body was. I tried to carry him but it was heavy. Ibrahim came closer and he assisted me in carrying the body towards the shore of the river
. I checked him and I could feel some little pulse in him.
Yemi: Ibrahim, please help me to carry him. I can’t do this alone. Ibrahim carried the man on his shoulders while I took two buckets of water. Who is this man? I asked myself
A week later
It has been a very torrid one week ever since I brought the strange man home. I was not able to go to my primary place of assignment. I was able to put a call across to my head of department of where I worked to inform him about my predicament. Thanks to God and he was able to understand.
I got a friend of mine, Ibukun who was working at the hospital to come and treat the strange man with the promise to pay back when we get paid our allowee for the month. Ibukun do come every day to check on him and thanks to God, he was getting better by day.
Who are you? That was what I heard when I was having my evening prayer. You are awake! I almost screamed happily

. Then I walked towards the bed where he was laid.
Yemi: Thank God you are awake.
Stranger: Who are you?
Yemi: I am sure you must be hungry (Then his stomach grumbled to ascertain my stomach) Please hold on
I ensured he ate the food I prepared for him even though he couldn’t eat much but unfortunately it seems he didn’t remember anything that had happened to him or how he got to the river.
For 4 days, I tried working on him to know maybe he can remember anything at all but I was still hopeful. Even though I had missed my place of work for 12 days, I can’t forfeit the signing of clearance at the local government today.

. The stranger is still sleeping comfortable on the bed. I must confess he is quite handsome. Don’t get me wrong, It’s not that I am drooling on him but I am just stating the obvious.
I was well dressed in my NYSC crested vest and Khaki trousers and jacket then I felt some movement.
Yemi: You are awake. Good morning. I am going out now.
Stranger: Ermm. A corper?
Yemi: (Shocked & surprised) Yessss. I am a corp member. Wait. How did you know its called a corper? (Sat down beside him)
