"The wind coming from this almond tree is nothing compared to the strength, the air coming from your breath gives me" Abraham said as he began to drop his lines.

"Truth be told my love for you was one at first sight. Yet, the subsequent sights I have had on you, still kept drowning me in your love." Abraham added as he continued his speech.

Asante gave no response as she bowed her head and started biting her left index with her mouth.

"Yes, I know I may not be the perfect guy for you, I may not be as handsome or gorgeous or rich as the dream guy you will probably want for yourself. But one thing I know is that I will always be there to make you happy . Just please give me the privilege to be your Before Anyone Else." Abraham said bringing his sermon to an end and hoping he will get a response from her.

Asante became so uncomfortable as she didn't know the exact response to give. Although he sounded genuine and honest, she was however still skeptical about allowing him have control of her feelings, as even Bernard then had sounded romantic too – but how did it end?

Moving her hands away from her lips, she placed it gently on Abraham's right hand. Slowly she began to rub it affectionately as she kept on staring intently at his eyes

. Then she said

"Abraham! Abraham!! Abraham!!! How many times did I call you?"

"Three times my Queen" Abraham said affirmatively.

"Good. I just hope your heart will be as gentle and kind as the words you speak. Because as I am now, I cannot afford to go through what I have gone through before oh." Asante said stretching the part before.

She was really willing to give it a trial and just hope something positive comes out of it.

“Alright then, if you say so. I will give it a thought and let you know my decision” Asante finally said. In her heart, she already had the plan of discussing it with her friends and was just hoping they support the idea of her dating him or even dating anyone this soon…

Chai! You mean Abraham asked you out? Nawa oh. And here am I shooting my shot since first semester, none of you are even giving me face. It’s not fair oh.” Ayo said as Asante narrated to them the love sermon that father Abraham had preached to her.

“See, for me oh, I think Abraham is cool. You need to give him a trial. He is brilliant, lovable, tall and all. At least he even sounded romantic the other day he came here. You are going to enjoy him. Most especially so you can forget about that devil incarnate called Bernard once and for all. You should give him a trial babe” Akosua said

“Well, for me, in as much as this Abraham of a guy sounds so fun and lovable, I still think you should give yourself some time to heal first. It’s barely one week you broke up with Bernard. I am even amazed you could even have the guts to contemplate going into another one soon. Abraham is cool, no doubt. But going into another relationship just to avoid thinking about the first isn’t really a good idea. That’s just my own sha oh, after all what do I know about love” Adesuwa said as she felt it was too soon for another relationship.

“Noooh. I disagree! Which one is this one saying so? Must everybody wait for two years like you before going into another relationship after the first break-up? Abeggi jare.” Akosua said reminding Adesuwa of the fact that she hasn’t been in a relationship since after her first, which ended in heart break two years ago.

. She had narrated the whole story to them, why she had not been able to go into relationship since she came to school.

“See, Abraham is cool. Give him a trial please” Akosua added facing Asante this time around.

“At least am not like you who has not even been approached by a guy since you were born. Nonsense!” Adesuwa said lambasting Akosua in return. Apparently, both ladies had begun to reveal some secrets about themselves.

“Ye” Ayo shouted putting both hands on his head as he started laughing. “Wait oh, are you kidneying me? But you guys never told me about this na. So you mean, no boy has ever approached Akosua? And yet she will be making shakara for me when I even try to eat her tasteless food. Chia. I have hope oh.” Ayo added as he continued to laugh to the extent that tears almost came out from Asante’s eyes.

“Good for you! First to do, e nor dey pain” Adesuwa said smirking her eyes for her.

Soon attention had been moved away from the discussion at hand. All these while, Asante’s eyes kept on moving back and forth among them as each of them gave their own opinion of the issue at hand.

Just then Asante said, “Okay guys, jokes apart. I really need to conclude on this, so I can give him a feedback. But the truth is I think I love him and have already fallen for him”
