Choosing Akosua’s Date
“Hi Asher” Adesuwa said as she beckoned on Asher who was busy eating mince-pie at the extreme end of the class. He had a chilled bottle of coke to wash it down too.
“Can we talk? I have gist for you and an offer too” Adesuwa added drawing closer to him.
“Offer? Hope it’s notin any way related to this?” Asher said pointing to his bottle of coke.This is exactly why Adesuwa thought he was just so perfect for Akosua – Two foodies.
Wearing a fake smile, she said “No, not at all. It’s not related to your coke . This might even give you more bottles of cokes if you play your card well.”
“Oh, that sounds interesting already. Hit me with it” Asher said pouring the remaining liquid in the bottle inside his mouth at once and cleaned his gum using the index in his left hand.
“I have a date for you” Adesuwa said as she smiled and was expecting the reaction from him first before she would go further.
“Date? I don’t understand. You just told me more bottles of coke a few seconds ago. Now you are saying date. What’s their relationship?” Asher asked already losing interest in the whole proposal.
“Of course, there is a relationship. The date will ultimately bring more bottle of cokes

. Actually, I overhead some of your friends the other day mocking you about not having a girlfriend and not been able to talk to one. Some of my friends and I are actually having a group date, and we would need an extra guy to make it even. So I was thinking you would be the perfect complement for this vacancy” Adesuwa said as she finally sold the idea to him like a professional merchant.
Asher had bowed his head down when Adesuwa talked about his friends earlier on but was forced to blush when he heard the offer thinking she was actually doing him a favour.
“Awwn Awnn, that sounds so nice. I never knew you loved me this much oh. I am very interested in the date. I will try to be a good partner to you. Just teach me all you would want me to do.” Asher said beaming with smile this time around. He had also thought Adesuwa was the potential date.
“Good partner to me? No oh. It’s not me oh. It’s my friend. Am sure you know her already but don’t know her name.” Adesuwa said as she smiled and was even forced to cackle softly too.
“Ah, I don’t think I can do that one oh.

. I sometimes have phobia talking to ladies. Please, just leave me as I am. When the time is right for me to marry, my mummy will get me a beautiful girl from our village. We have plenty there.” Asher added as he made efforts to back out from the whole idea already as he was the perfect definition of shyness.
Adesuwa who had been laughing in her mind all these while, couldn’t help but laugh out loud now. “Asher, you are very funny you know. Am sure she would like this humour of yours. She has this thing for funny guys.” Adesuwa said trying to convince him of the feasibility.
“Ehem? Wow! That sounds beautiful already. I cannot wait to meet her then.” Asher said happily as he thought he had finally found a girl who admires something about him.
Trying not to laugh, Adesuwa said “of course, she can’t wait to meet you too – it’s sure a mutual feeling.”
Just then Asher tried to get up from his seat and embrace Adesuwa for the help that she has brought to him. However, he found it difficult to do so. Asheractually weighs 220pounds and as a result of always eating, this has made him so fat.
