"Guys, guess what?” Asante said to Adesuwa, Akosua and Ayo as they were meeting for the evening’s group class.

“What jor? It’s either your heart has been broken again or you have one funny story or the other to give” Ayo said blasting Asante as he saw it as a mere distraction to their main aim for the night – reading books.

“What babe?” Akosua said as she widened her mouth with beaming smile in expectant of a good news.

Adesuwa did not even give a flinch as she already knew the direction at which the discussion may eventually go – Abraham

“Abraham! He wants to take us all out. For a drink, a party, a group date or something” Asante finally said revealing Abraham’s plan for them.

“Oh my God! That sounds dope already . I have always known that there was something special about this guy, unlike that devil of a boy” Akosua said making negative reference to Bernard.

“Well, that sounds great. But is that why this one is now jumping like Tanzanian frog?” Adesuwa said, referring her last statement to Akosua

“Why won’t she jump? She knows there is definitely going to be food na. A horse is never filled

. It only gets tired of chewing and resume whenever strength is back. Meanwhile, it’s a welcome development, At least I can get the opportunity to hold my Adesuwa’s waist” Ayo said as he smiled and gave a wink to Adesuwa.

“Wait oh. I don’t understand. Are you now indirectly calling me a horse or what?” Akosua said frowning her face like a horse really.

“Me? Call you a horse? Of course not. First, I never called you a horse.

. I only mentioned it to buttress my point. Secondly, of all animals, why should I symbolize you with a horse, when there are other animals like goat, cow or antelope? Calling you a horse will just be an over-hype for you.” Ayo said giving Akosua the clap back of her life.

Just then Asante quickly cut them shot before the issue further escalated. “Hey guys, what’s all these na? Let’s stop these jare, and think of any other constructive thing to talk about.”

“What about we deciding about which of the outing to go and all that?” Asante said, in a bid to further deviate them both from fighting and going back to read as she was never the book-worm type.

“Well, I think a group date sounds great. At least people like us who have no actual boyfriends would take the opportunity to probably borrow one that day” Adesuwa said and then they all laughed together.

“Yes, group dating sounds great too. Only on the condition that Adesuwa agrees to be my date” Ayo said as he began to smile knowing his opportunity was coming gradually. Adesuwa and Asante laughed out at his mischievousness in taking advantage of such moments.

“That won’t be a problem, as long as you are able to do all my bidding that day” Adesuwa said slowly as she blushed.

“No oh, No oh! First, I don’t understand. Secondly, I disagree. What’s all these? So what’s now supposed to happen to me? Why must it be a group date sef? Who will I now bring now? This is not fair at all oh.” Akosua said as she protested against their choice of a group date.

“What’s the problem exactly? You don’t like group dating or you don’t have a date? Which one? And stop delaying people’s decision.” Adesuwa said to Akosua as their custom of always fighting were.

“Both, but the second one majorly” Akosua said, twisting her mouth like an antelope as Ayo had earlier predicted.

Adesuwa looked at her gently, then for the first time in a hundred years smiled to her and said. “Then that won’t be a problem dear. I probably would have a date for you”

I don’t think Adesuwa is up to anything good. Which person do you think she is planning for Akosua as her date? Drop your comments.
