EPISODE 22
NARRATOR’S POV
She got out of the restroom and bumped into the nobody she had branded him to be and was about walking past him when he grabbed her arm. At first she thought her clothes was hooked on something because it was like an insult for this nobody to hold her arm. Can’t he just mind his business for once? She asked herself.
“I heard how you discriminated my figure before your boyfriend
. I would appreciate it if you go back to him and unsay all you said about me.” He blurted out.
At first she thought she didn’t hear right but when she revisited his words in her head she burst into a robust laughter and this surprised him. She looked at him intently from his head to his toes and hissed and was about walking away but he gripped her even harder and pinned her to the wall using both hands to lock her in-between. She was surprised he had such guts but at the same time starting to get on her nerves.
“you even have the impudence to degrade me in my very own presence. Why don’t you get scared of me? Why do you act as if I don’t scare you?” He shouted. She was looking without blinking and this infuriated him the more.
“can a nobody scare you?” she asked surprising Anderson. She still hasn’t learnt a lesson and she will learn one today and the hard way he said to himself.
“not when the nobody has the power and resources to end you

. You ought to be scared.” He retorted without care. She got angry at his statement. She swiftly pinned her left fingers round his neck and forcefully pushed him to the other side of the wall hitting his back hard on the wall that he let out a grunt and his face coloured instantly. He was running out of air.
“Now listen to me, I warned you to mind your business. I thought I warned you also not to mess with me. This should be the last time you joke about my life. I will take it as a joke and not a threat this time. The next time you do that, you won’t see the next day. Have a nice day.” She left him and walked away. He was surprised at her sudden outburst. She didn’t only pinned him on the wall but raised him from the ground. The effect left him coughing his lungs out. This attracted one of his workers who came to him.
“Wa… .. wat… er.” He told the worker who ran to bring a bottle of water to him. He quickly removed the lid and downed the content before he could recover himself.
“what happened sir?” the worker asked
“I was choking. What else happened?” he asked back
“But what are you doing in the ladies convenience?” the worker asked on. He had a worried look on his face.
“I was looking for water. Thought there was a tap around here. Try and get someone to fix a tap around here. I am sure I am not the first victim of this.” He said and walked away leaving the worker confused. He didn’t understand a thing his boss just said.
Whitney hurriedly came out she really needed to cool off. If Greg sees her like this, he would doubt if she was the same person he knew in their University days. Unfortunately for her Greg caught up with her unawares.
“What’s wrong? Are you leaving?” he asked with concern on written on his face.
“I am sorry I need to go just had an emergency see you around.” Without waiting for his reply, she ran out. She boarded a cab and because Greg had offered her a ride in the morning.
ANDERSON’S PRESENT(NARRATOR’SPOV)
That’s like two days ago and he still feels his ego bruised. It was weekend and his misses torturing her awfully.
“but you’ve been the tortured one.” His head reminds him and he hits it with a “shut up” yell. One would think he is about running mad.
Just then he hears his friends chatting from a distance and laughing. He strained his ears to listen to their voice to clarify if it were really them and Alas! It was them. He happily sits down on his chair and waits their entering.
