WHITNEY’S POV
I don’t know why I couldn’t get angry earlier. I guess it’s because i had other plans and maybe I wasn’t that temperamental as i thought i was. I looked at Greg who gave instructions to the cement mixers. Why didn’t i know all these while that this guy had feelings for me? Maybe i was too determined to remain careless. When I actually cared
. I really don’t love this guy the was he loves me. He has everything a woman would ever want but to me one thing is missing and i don’t really know what’s missing. He smiles at me and I returned the smile. Then he started walking towards me.
“hey there.” He said.
“hi, how’s the layers and mixers? Are they improving?” I asked trying so much not to gaze deeply into his eyes.
“yeah sure. Why not? When Greg is here?” he said and we laughed. That has been his motto since University days.
“you still haven’t changed.” I said to him.
“neither have my feelings for you.” He added but I said nothing and I only smiled.
“Look you have a wedding coming up soon. Don’t let me distract you.”I told him
“A wedding I could always cancel if you accept me. We could start courting and I won’t rush you into marriage.” He replied rubbing my cheek.

“Alright. I knew that would be the answer anyways.” I heard him say rather sadly and I was lost for a word that would suit his reply without making him more sad.
“So who was that guy earlier and what deal was he talking about?” I heard him ask.
“oh that’s nobody. He’s the son of the CEO of this company. Don’t mind him. Avoid him instead.” I told him
“The son of a CEO is a somebody Whitney. Do you have issues to settle with him?” he asked me.
“Look Greg. I made a deal with his father not him so to me he is a nobody. Okay? Let’s change the topic. I get angry whenever he is the topic of our discussion.” I said calmly.
“okay,okay, I give up. I hope he doesn’t end up hurting you with his threats.” He said and I laughed out loud. Only if he knew.
“okay Greg that was funny. Four of that boy’s size or strength cannot make me fall on my back let alone one of him. It will be an insult to me.” I said still laughing and he was quite surprised.
“Okay. I see you have some powers or something.” He said.
“Well lemme use the restroom. I will be back in a jiffy.” I said to him and excused myself. I walked into the company’s building as it was built separately from the wire house.
ANDERSON’S POV
Firstly, I am a nobody and secondly I am not a person who is worth to be just a common topic and thirdly myself in four places can’t bring her on her back. When myself in one can fully do that. I think she has no idea that I have been visiting the gym ever since she came into my life. Yes! Yes! I eavesdropped on them screw me! I couldn’t help it. I had to leave the office and come hurt her in the disguise of seeing their progress. I couldn’t stay far feeling defeated. And just as I was about showing myself the Greg brought up my topic and I maintained a distance between them where I could hear everything. I won’t lie that I am so angry right now. Like really angry and I am following her to the restroom to finally loose hell on her. Henceforth, she will never forget the scars I am about inflicting on her…… I have gotten it up to my neck!
