I seriously despise that girl right now. Only God knows how she crept to her position. I mean both of us were recruits at the very start. She brought her Nigerian witchcraft along with her. Yes! She did. Because I am supposed to be the favoured one and not her. At least if for any reason, being a born American should solve the puzzle. Why would she be given two bold silver star insignia while mine happened to be two silver bars insignia
. Gosh! This is so frustrating. What am I going to do? I earlier planned sabotaging her every plans and missions be it personal or assigned so that she will either be given a break or her services will be less needed then they can give me a try. I mean her presence is preventing mu illumination. It’s as if I am a dark room and she lightens the room. So everyone get to see the light first before eyeing the room. No matter how fine and well built the room appears to be, they first admire the light like some sort of rare chandelier. I hate what this jealousy is turning me into but if it will give me attention, then I will start loving the feeling.
“Cos baby now we’ve got bad blood! You know we used to be mad love so take a look what you have done and now baby girl we’ve got bad blood, Hey!” my ringtone blasts loud in my room and I reach for it. Am I the bad blood or she is? Ahhhhhhh! What’s wrong with me!

. Didn’t I made it clear to you to give me all possible info latest 8pm? Don’t you know some of our calls are being monitored here in our base?” I harshly tell the caller gritting my teeth in the process to hold me from pouring more of my anger.
“I am sorry Ma’am but I couldn’t let you off this news cos it will cause a bridge in our plans plus I didn’t get the news on time as well.” He says calmly.
“So what’s this news?” I ask not really interested.
“She will be leaving Detroit tomorrow before or after noon. The first place she will be at is the prison which the criminals that were caught by her are held. She has a meeting with the General himself too.” What!!! The general himself?? Someone who hasn’t even said “hi” to me is having a meeting with the copy and not the original? Okay! I need a smoke right now.
“What time?” I ask suddenly fanning myself, why is this place suddenly hot?
“I think by 9:30am Ma’am. Her Nigerian friends are coming as well. Goodnight Ma’am.” He hangs up even before I get to steady my brain. I have been questioning myself on why I spewed much anger just at the mere thought of her. Now I know, she brought three of her damn Nigerian friends into the light as well. She plans on making me miserable for the rest of my life. We were once best of friends. She would have partnered with me and convinced the general to Relinquish me a position too. Isn’t that what best friends are supposed to do? But no! She instantly went AHOOL on me and began shutting me out like a plague then all of a sudden she went brought her Nigerian friends and one of them got the Glories of being positioned from Captain to Major here in the us. That was supposed to be my position but it was stolen from me just because I had not the connection. Well tomorrow it is. I’ll so make sure you regret ever joining the US Army instead of the Nigeria’s. I will destroy you in addition with that bastard who stole my position. I, Cassandra Marvins will destroy you Rena Ushers and it’s a promise. Gosh!!! I really need that smoke right now else u run mad. Mark would have rolled up some weed. Tomorrow Rena. Need to get my smoke to clear you off my mind.
