FIONA - Episode 28

 

“Good Morning sir” Diamond greeted the middle-aged man who was seated behind the desk in his office. It was Samuel Sash, , the CEO of the company. The office was fully decorated with a brown wooden office set and a black sofa set of three. It was very neat and simple. “Good Morning Mr. Norway. You may have your seat.” The guy instructed Diamond . “Now, I want you to do something very delicate for me.” the guy told Diamond. “What could that be sir” Diamond asked. “I need you to take these documents to Salamis corporation in Marine city” the guy instructed Diamond. “Now, these are very delicate papers and you must deliver them before 4:00 PM tomorrow. To Mr. Jimmy Salami.” the guy instructed him. “Okay sir, I surely will.” Diamond agreed as he woke up to leave. “And when you get to Marine city, make sure no one else knows why you are there” the guy warned him strongly. 

Diamond took the files and made his way towards the Salamis corporation about two hours' drive away from his city. But he was curious to know why the documents were sent to Michel’s cousin when Michel was the CEO and the real partner of the Sash brothers? What if he had been wrong about Michel and the real culprit was his cousin. He thought of it for a while but finally decided to open up the files and read through it

. There was a letter about the delivery address in two weeks. There was gonna be a shipment and Jimmy was supposed to be there. Some of the files needed to be signed but they were not ordinary files. They were almost like fake and tricky files that were meant to show that Michel was turning his company over to Jimmy in case anything happened to him. Those types of files he knew know because he grew up among gangs who fortified documents and made them look like something else. They use it to rub people off their property no matter how smart they were. That also means they were gonna kill Michel if he was to ever sing any of those files. 

After reading all of the files, Diamond closed them just as the driver made his way into the Salami’s office compound. He was directed towards Jimmy’s office where he officially got to meet Jimmy for the first time. He knew little about Jimmy because all those while his attention had been on Michel.

“Good afternoon” He greeted as he entered the office. “Good afternoon” Jimmy motioned him to enter but keeping his head on the paper on his desk. “I was asked to drop this” Diamond told him. “Sure, thank you,” Jimmy told him without paying careful attention to the Diamond until he turned his back to leave. “You look familiar, do I know you,” Jimmy asked. “Am not sure, sir” Diamond responded and hurriedly left the office. He tried to walk away as fast as he could but he wasn't so lucky because he bumped into Michel.

 “Who would have thought I would see your face here of all places. Is Fiona that is Missing or Kisha?” Michel said these while Blocking Diamond's way.  “I am not here to cause any trouble” Diamond stated. “Ohh no, you won't be able to do that. At least not here” Michel interrupted. “I am not comfortable with your involvement with the ones I love” Michel blurted out. “Fiona is like a sister to me” Diamonded clarified. “I noticed, but I wonder what’s your business with my sister,” Michel wondered but Diamond remained silent. 

“Let me get this right with you. If you ever hurt my sister, I will rain hell on you. Just keep that in mind” Michel threatened and walked away. Diamond was offended but he knew Michel had bigger problems than he must have realized. He just nodded his head and walked out of the Salami’s compound and back to the capital city.

“Hey, bae” Fiona spoke immediately after Michel answered the call. “Hey Queen” Michel responded. “Are you busy? Like very busy right now?” Fiona asked, emphasizing her question. “Do you need me to do something for you?” Michel asked. “Can we meet?” Fiona requested. “Is everything okay” Michel became concerned. “Ohh, yeah, sure. Just wanted you to see something” Fiona assured him. “Okay, am on my way. Michel told her. “Not my house, check your phone, I just sent the address,” Fiona told him and he saw the address. It was not familiar but he drove over anyway. 

As he arrived at the compound, he noticed it was a large apartment complex. What was she doing there? Fiona can sometimes be weird, hope all was well with her. 

He knocked on the door and to his surprise Diamond opened it. The last person he expected to see, and what the hell would she call him to his place. Was she breaking up with his already? Must it be at his house? Michel had so many thoughts running through his mind. Fiona ran towards him and welcomed him with their usual kisses. “Is everything okay and what are we even doing here?” Michel asked. He wasn't sure what to expect with Diamond being around. 

“Is this one of your tricks?” He confronted Diamond but got no reply. “Bae, he is only trying to help,” Fiona told him. “You don't need his help. I am here for you” Michel responded to her but she nodded no. “This is not just about me bae, it's all of us. Please listen to us” Fiona pleaded. “Don't you trust me?” she finally got him to give in. “Fine, let's hear what you have to say.” He said taking a seat with Fiona beside him. “You finally stepped out of your line here, this better be good,” Michel warned Diamond. 

“Trust me, the feeling is mutual. I am not sure if I can also tolerate you” Diamond fired. “Just get to the point” Michel fired back. “Bae…. we think your cousins aren't honest with you. If we are right, they are the ones working with Sash brothers to smuggle drugs under your name ``Fiona didn't finish what she was saying before being interrupted by Michel. “You crazy right? Do you realize Jimmy is my brother?” Michel shouted at Fiona. “I know that,” Fiona said. “No, you seem to forget that. He has been out of the country for months and this is what you get to do to him?” He was disappointed in her. “What do you think? A stranger would fortify your signature and illegally use your name? Are you dumb or plain stupid?” Diamond yelled in his face. But Michel was quick to throw a punch in his face. Diamond was going to retaliate when Fiona stood between them and started crying. They both seem to agreed not to want her crying so both of them back off. 

“I know you trust them but we all are hurt, Michel. I know you dont wanna believe us but I too dont wanna believe that my siblings hate me this much but its the hard truth. I love you and just want the best for you” Fiona said between tears. Michel took his seat as if he was ready to listen to whatever they had to say. “You such a prick than you realized” Diamond crushed. And Michel replied “F** you.

“You saw me a few days ago at your company, its because I went to deliver some files to Jimmy. They had a shipping address and other vital information about the next delivery and I want us to stop that. If you dont trust me, you can see for yourself.” Diamond yield at him with annoyance.
“That is where you are wrong. I told Jimmy about the illegal smuggling of drugs and we were going to stop it together. Am sure that what the address was for, to stop those monsters from using my name for their dirty work” Michel blurted out. “Or it could be to stop you instead” Fiona interrupted. “What is in it for you?” Michel asked because he was sure Diamond was only faking things. 

“I always thought you were the one smuggling drugs and I was onto you but realized it wasn't you, it was your brother” Diamond explained. “I got that part but why are you helping? Never known to like me?” Michel asked trying to discredit him. “Because I am the rightful owner of Sash brothers Inc” Diamond explained and Michel replied. “I can see that.” Diamond knew convincing Michel to work with them was going to be a long shot but he was gonna try. They needed him.
