Painful Torture
"That's not possible...You are both lying to me...." Nick cried, madder and madder by the second.
"No son, it's true...Gerald killed your father.." His mother tried soothing him but he pushed her hand away.
"Why did you let me fall in love with the daughter of my father's murderer???" Nick's sobbing was more than crying, it came from a person drained of happiness...
"How do you expect me to live now??? The woman I was to propose to infront of the whole world, I dumped her through a text." Nick's face creased and his fist clenched so tight that he could feel the sweat trapped inside them...
"Why did you not tell me ????" Nick sank on his knees sobbing like a child," Why did you two hurt me like this??? How am I gonna survive after this???"
"It's enough my son, please calm down." His mother tried to take his hand but he pulled it like it was being burned..
"Don't touch me, don't touch me. You are despicable mother, you let me fall in love with the girl of a man who killed my dad and paralyzed you
. And everyday you acted all right and even acted you don't know her. I hate you...

. Why act up like......."
"Nick, respect your mother.." Alfred yelled at him, raising him from the knees by the collar.
"Stop being a hypocrite, you wanted me to use Dee to get to Gerald. You didn't bother to tell me that he was my father's murderer why should I listen to you..." He thundered, dropping Alfred's hands off his collar.
"That's why we should bring him down, we should kill him..." Alfred ranted.
"I am not gonna kill him, i am going to seek justice for my father the right way. And as for your plan, I am out. I won't use Dee because I love her. I have already hurt her enough."
He begun walking out," My son where are you going???"
"Away from you lunatics..." He rudely replied, slamming the door closed.
"Congratulations Alfred, your plan has worked.."
"Don't tease me, we have to do something.."
"No, you are on your own. You have nothing against me..." Nick's mother laughed, pushing the wheelchair away but Alfred holds it," You have to help me."
"No, do your thing.. You always claim your are smart and fearless.. it's time to prove that..." Nick's mother chaffed as Alfred pushed her vigorously that she almost hit the wall.
Grief seemed to consume him entirely. His love for Dee turned to pain which turned to fear and now hatred for her dad Gerald. He was certain he loved her but his father's sin would always be an obstacle...
He thought there would be answers beneath the bottle of whisky but nothing.. There was no skin over her pain, and the wind made it bleed...
Each bottle of whisky made him feel better and better but the pain in his heart was still constant.
How was Dee doing???
Was she okay???
How foolish of him, how was she to be okay???
"Please forgive me Dee!!!!" Nick cried slapping himself hard.
Love is like a flower, one day it blossoms the other it dries up...
