When Bad Meets Evil - Episode 9

 

  "Boss...boss" no answer.   

  Collins peered and then entered into the dimly lit room just in time to catch Sarah downing the last liquor in a brand he couldn't tell in the light
   "I thought I told you to take the day off"
   "what would that make me boss"
  "don't call me that Collins I'm not 60. why are you here . Scared I'm gonna try and hurt myself"
   "can't blame me boss"
      "really?"
   "Your dad would want you to stay healthy boss. He is such a good man"
    "Don't worry I'm going to stay alive for you. You are a good man"
  "thanks boss, you should eat something. I would get the chef to set you dinner"
   "No Collins, I will eat later. Right now I need you to call Kayode, tell him to set the plan on motion"   

    "the plan?"
 "yes he will understand"

   Michael had a lust on Caroline's primy charcoal black hair which was utterly romanced  by the Nivea lotion. A brand she modelled

. Her hair was virgin, falling over her shoulders with strands of it on her face that tended to hest his attention completely. And today, with the strong wind bellowing through the resort, coupled with his ragged thoughts, it took him awhile to eject himself off her compulsion and rearrange his mind to focus on the mission at hand.
   "Caroline there is something I need to tell you.. " 
  "no Michael I was being childish. I should be glad I have a guy like you in my life. I mean what's the rush, we are going to be married soon" she was really enjoying the shrimps that he persuaded her to order and try.
      "not that Caroline I ..."
  "No Michael. I love you and I always will no matter what Edenna thinks"
   "what does she think?"
  "that you are a bad guy with motives. But I know she's wrong and am the bad person here.. really I am"
   "Caroline you are not a bad..."
  "Michael let me finish" Michael touched his hands to his head and watched her from across the table. Her brown eyes darted from his face to the food as she spoke. He needed to get her to listen,and he knew this could be his only chance. First there was the matter of Celestine who was hell bent on seeing his relationship crash. And then Edenna.
   Edenna never liked him, 2 times there''ve met were like fire and lightening. Her eyes crackled with loath unmeasured like rays of harmattan sunshine. He still couldn't configure out why but she looked very familiar.

    "I ran into a very strange guy yesterday who happens to know you" Caroline interjected his thoughts, food in her mouth.
   Michael let his fork drop with a clatter "who?"
    "Celestine? do you know him?"
  "What did he say" Michael could hear his own heart race. Fear like a thief surrounded by police gripped him.
    "Gibberish mainly, I felt he was just trying to hit on me"
  "What exactly did he say!"
  "relax babe. He was just muttering how good in bed he is and stuffs, like I said gibberish. why do you have that look on your face? should i worry about him?"
     "Yes Caroline yes. Dont ever talk to him again"
   "why? who is he?"
   "Dose that matter? He is evil don't ever let him come close to you. Promise me you would never talk to him again!"
    "why... i mean I won't but you are scaring me. He said you guys go way back"

   "He lied. Just trust me okay"
  "yes baby... but..."
   Caroline couldn't understand. At first she thought it funny that  Celestine was drolling all about his s-xual prowess when she was in a no s-x until... relationship with his friend.
  but when she thought about it now she wondered if he knew something. Its been over six months now and Michael still didn't want to discuss s-x talkless of.....
  There were times she knew he wanted more than just the Kissing but just wouldn't let himself.He always acted like if he lost control, the s-x could hurt her, or kill him.
  She let it go. She had promised herself to let it go. Afterall she had secrets of her own. Soon they would be married and He would tell her everything, she was sure of it. Even if he didn't, He would still make love to her on their wedding night, for the first time and It would be blissful, That was enough. She would wait.
    "You were going to say something?"
   "Not important" Michael suddenly felt uncomfortably, even the chill in the resort felt like a sturdy plot to get his girl from him. Celestine was a much bigger threat than he envisaged and he needed to tackle it immediately.
    "not important? you sounded pretty important to me earlier?"
    "I think we should go"
   "but babe your food" Caroline held his arm apprehension plastered on her face. What could be wrong? Edenna's voices echoed in her head 
  "I said I am not hungry" He semi-shouted "Im sorry I didn't mean to act frustrated at you, let's just go home please"

    "promise me you would tell me everything soon"
   " I swear I will"

   Kayode had tailed them all day. He was watching the bastard eat lunch with his girl when he got a message from Sarah, informing him to set the plan on motion. He wouldn't get a better timing than now. Pure hate filled his heart as he watched the bastard  laugh, completely enjoying himself, and not until his demeanor suddenly became one of anxiety did he start noticing the strong wind that blew through the resort.
   Death, he whispered to himself. It resembled Death wind.

    He watched them leave the resort in hurried steps and followed at a distance enjoying it all like a game of cheese.
   Daylight was far gone when he followed them outside but the breeze was stronger still.

Kayode tried to picture how he became the wind that brought death.
   One thing he knew though was that it wasn't his fault in anyway. How was it his fault that he fell in love and loved the girl more than his life? He had every right to love a girl he rescued didnt he? He made the girl his muse and decided to live for her. He became better and started existing only for her. How was it his fault that the one girl he cherished above everything decided to fall in love with an Evil ring leader?
    O wait, it wasn't her fault either, Sarah had told him everything. Michael was controlling her, making her love him against her wish. He and his gang were evil.

    Thank God He was the hand of Justice. Thank God Sarah's plan was full prove. All of them will get what there deserve, all 5 of them.
    He smirked in the darkness and started his car engine, driving in the same direction as the bastard. The plan was now in motion....
