The Twist - Episode 39

 

The Junkie glanced at the sleeping figure lying on the dry leaves and decided to sit down near her.

The greater part of her dress was torn off when the driver dragged her out of her car and only half of the clothes covered her upper body.

Looking at her now with her fleshy White thighs exposed and her white lacy pant in full view, the Junkie felt a tingling sensation flowing down his groin.

He looked around, Romeo had gone to toilet a few minutes ago.

The driver had gone to dispose off the Volkswagen golf and to equally buy some food and cigarettes for the long wait.

The operation is turning sour.

Their actual plan was to take Amaka to a rented warehouse outside the city but the hot pursuit had landed them inside this forest with no food nor water.

Romeo had instructed the driver to dump the car somewhere along the express road.

That will take the police off their trail.

They will imagine they have switched cars again and drove out of the city.

The driver was always calm and relaxed.

This annoyed the junkie.

How he hated this tall youth! Romeo had been totally dependant on the driver and has been looking at him recently as if he was some kind of god.

Romeo had lost interest in him.

Each time he wanted to chip in his own ideas in their discussion, Romeo would stared at him with resigned boredom and wave him off.

Well, he will teach them a lesson! He stared at the lady's exposed thighs again and resisted the urge to rub his shaky hands on them.

Will she woke up if he eventually rub her thighs? No, she is still sleeping and won't even know what is happening.

He slowly crawled near the lady, his hand touched the butt of his gun and he grabbed it.

If she woke up he will threaten her with the gun.

With Pounding heart, he slowly touched the warm flesh of the lady's left thigh and felt her trembled.

He wanted to slowly pull of the underwear and paused.

There are rustling of leaves and almost immediately a twig broke somewhere.

The Junkie swung around; the gun shaking in his trembling hands. No one was there.

He looked around to make sure, he wanted to call out to Romeo but only a croaking sound escaped from his throat

. Maybe he had imagine the sound.

He looked at the sleeping figure again.

He had lost interest and urge to sleep with her. It was typical of Romeo to give him the easy job of looking after the lady but he knew even if they sent him out there to shoot, he can't even handle the gun.

His ear picked another sound, this time the sound was unmistakable.

Someone was out there.

The Junkie froze; He felt a tug of fear at his heart when a voice said to him.

"Don't move, Drop the gun slowly and hands up"

From Bashir's POV Bashir was sneaking silently on the grass when he saw the bright yellow colour of the Volkswagen golf.

He stared at the car, circling it slowly with his gun ready.

He waited for a couple of minutes before making his approach; Moving cautiously like a big black cat.

He knew these men are dangerous and ought to be extremely careful.

He reached the car and peered inside.

It was empty.

There was smear of drying blood on the back seat and on the door.

He was about to move ahead when he heard someone coming.

He hide behind the car, his gun ready.

The approaching figure came into view.

He was a boy, tall and thin.

He held a machine gun in his gloved hand and was swinging it carelessly as he walk confidently towards the car.

Bashir stared at the boy.

If he shoot him now, the sound of the gun will alert the rest of the gang and he will be in serious trouble.

There will be no chance of saving Amaka.

He will silently kill the boy. He hated strangling people with his immense strength but he has no choice in this case.

The boy's frail figure told him he won't be that difficult to kill.

Unaware of what awaits him; the driver opened the door of the car and was about to get in when a pair of hands grabbed his neck.

Although Bashir was confident enough he can kill this slim youth, he wasn't prepare for his lightening speed.

The boy quickly slipped out of his grasp like an eel and hit him on the belly with the nozzle of the gun.

The vicious blow made Bashir to recoiled but the last thing he wanted was the boy to shoot the gun.

He blindly kicked the gun out of the boy's hand and sprung at him.

The boy was off balance from the kick and Bashir knocked him down with his weight.

They both hit the ground and Bashir has the advantage of being on top of the boy.

He recovered first and sank his massive fingers on the boy's throat.

The boy clawed at his face and thrashed his leg as Bashir Squeezed ruthlessly.

A minute passed before Bashir noticed the boy is already dead. Staggering to his feet, he picked his gun and move in the direction the boy came from...
