The Twist - Episode 1
The dark room was smelly and dirty.
Big spiders and rats peep at their new companion with disapproval as he shuffled his feet and leaned against the stained wall.
He still can't believe this is happening to him.
He slowly sat down on the floor of the prison and recalled how it all started.
He had visited Dr. Uche his best friend in his office that faithful day he met Amaka.

. Uche was a medical doctor who owns a massive hospital in the heart of Lagos.
and Mark had attended the same secondary school and higher institutions.
But Mark became too ambitious and applied for Acting license from the International Guild of Nollywood Actors.
He struggled along the line to make an impact on the TV screen while Uche thrived in his profession as a medical practitioner.
Mark soon relied on his bosom friend for financial assistance and never seemed to have enough even when he began to earn a reasonable amount from the numerous movie producers that seek for his services.
On this faithful day, Mark had arrived late in the afternoon to borrow some money from Uche as usual.
When the nurse ushered him into the office, he was a bit stunned to see a beautiful girl leaving Uche's office.
He stared at her and whistled.
"Guy who's that girl?"
He asked Uche as he drew a seat and sat down comfortably.
"Oh, that's Amaka. The only daughter of Chief Okpara."
"Chief Okpara? you mean the same Chief Okpara the cement Millionaire?"

Uche replied with a smile. Mark drew his chair closer and mused.
"You see guy, I think I will go for that girl. She is everything a man wants in a woman. phew! so that's her daughter?"
"Now listen Mark, that girl is not your typical one night stand chick. She is strictly for the decent guys and her father is pure dynamite. I suggests you should better keep off"
Uche advised him.
"Are you by any chance saying I am not decent enough to have her? anyway, I will be back in a few moment. Let me go and try my luck."
Mark insisted and began to leave the office.
"Don't say I did not warn you. she is difficult and better be sincere with whatever you have in mind"
"Don't worry Doc. I will give you feed back."
With this, Uche rushed out of the office and headed for the hospital car park.
Amaka was about to enter her Red Mercedes Benz when Mark appeared by her side and turned on his charm.
They got talking and when Amaka noticed he is a nollywood actor, she accepted his dinner invitation.
She like dating super stars and the way Mark talk; he sounds exciting and fun to be with.
They have dined in one of the most expensive restaurants that evening and to impress Amaka more; Mark had withdrawn his entire savings and bought a parcel of chicken truffles in cream sauce mixed with vegetable salad for Amaka to take home.
He had quickly called Uche and narrated the whole thing to him.
He begged him to borrow him more money that he will pay him back soon.
Uche had inclined because he can't even remember how much Mark was owing him.
He subsequently transferred 50,000 naira to Mark's bank account and wished him luck.
One thing led to another and before Uche knew what is happening; Amaka and Mark were the talk of the town...
