The Quest - Episode 13

 

Tasha was in the presence of the King and Queen as she bowed down her head.

Tasha: My king, my queen, our new guest is also missing. I think it was her who hit our princess and ran away.

King: You are right. I haven't seen her since my daughter went into this strange sleep.

Queen: No, I don't think Dona might be capable of doing such a thing to the Princess of Ampoka Kingdom.

King: I believe what Tasha said, if it weren't true, then can you tell me where Dona might be? (Turns to face Tasha) You can go to your quarters, I will have the guards search every hook and canny of Ampoka Kingdom to fetch Dona. (Tasha bowed again and left their presence . After he had made sure Tasha was gone he turned to Paa). Go and call me Omiku, tell him his presence are urgently needed here. (Paa bowed and left to do as he was instructed).

Dona watches as Dontizu started chanting out various spells. She was constantly staring at the face of Dontizu, which held a strange look. Her eyes glowed suddenly and the stone within her glowed in light too.

Her chanting increases as the light on the stone shone aggressively almost blinding Dona.

As the light in the stone fade into a dim light, Dona noticed the presence of a young woman in the place where Dontizu had stood before. The young lady like her was twisting her head sideways, her eyes closed and a smirked was on  one side of her face

. Her hair was flowing around her, in the air. She looked beautiful

Was this how she had looked before? Dona thought as she stares at the beautiful lady in front of her.

Dona: You look so beautiful Dontizu.

Dontizu: (Laughs out) That I am Dona. You did well, you did very well. Now I am going to reward you for a job well done. (Dontizu opened her eyes, as it glowed)

Dona: That is good Mother, now that I have brought you the stone which you had seek, can you then tell me why you needed that stone in the first place.

Dontizu: (Laughs evily) I carve for the powers the stone helds within. I couldn't go to Amapoka kingdom because I was banished from that kingdom and throw into this forest by my own Twin sister.

Dona: (Confused) Twin sister? But you never made any mention of you having a sister talkless about a twin, why now. Why are you telling me now?.

Dontizu: My twin sister holds a higher power than me, I was jealous of that and I did what I did and she banished me instead, sealing a great deal of powers into that heart stone which you brought for me, her lover power was bind into it also. I lied to you Dona about the stone. The stone isn't the curse my twin had placed on me. The powers in the stone made me look young again and the only way to activate it is by the hands of my twin sister or her bloodline.

Dona: I don't get you Dontizu, what do you mean by bloodline? What bloodline are you talking about because as far I know, the old queen hasn't been seen for a long period of time.

Dontizu: By bloodline I mean, the direct child from my twin sister womb can unlock the powers it possess. And you did just that.

Dona: (Not getting it) How? Do you mean to say I am also a direct child from your twin?

Dontizu: Yes Dona (Points at her) You are the daughter of my twin. In fact you are a twin and your twin is the king of Ampoka Kingdom. I stole you, no, Tashania did that job. She turned into one of the mid wife that helped your mother during her delivery. I wanted one of you and she brought you to me. I killed Tashania or so I thought so, but that is all in the past now and I have much powers to Destroy the kingdom now. But I will start from you Dona.

Dona: If you are not my real mother, then be rest assured that she will find you and end you.

Dontizu: (Laughs) Oh did I forget to mention. Tashania also imprisoned your mother when she least expected.

. When I got the information that my twin was looking for me, I sent Tashania to her. My twin, your mother, has a soft heart. She helped the hands that would imprison her for ages. Enough of talking, it is time for that your reward. (Dontizu eyes glowed as her hands started forming a green flame).

Omiku has gone into the strange forest of Akpa. Something had told him to go hunting in that forest.

As he walked the length and breadth of the forest he stumbles upon a cave. As it was already getting dark, he had no other option than to spend the night there.

He ventured inside the cave, he wasn't afraid of anything.

He walked into a cave look like room.

Looking around the cave, it looked to him as if someone has lived in there some time ago, he saw books of various shapes, old dresses that cobwebs has filled, beds. No doubt but he could see properly in the dark.

He was about to turn when he saw a door, curiosity got the best out of him and he walked to the door, opened it and saw another cave look like room again. He also entered the room and looked around. He stopped short when he saw a statue like lady, one of her legs raised a little, her hands holding a flute.

He draw nearer to the statue. He saw a writing on the flute which said.

'To free her, bow down to her 3000 times'.

From that night till morning, Omiku bowed down to the strange statue lady.
