The Missionary's Journey - Episode 19
In the home of the Oyinmadu family, the living room was occupied by the pastor, his wife, his son and Ifeyinwa.
"Ifeyinwa told them everything that had happened, beginning with who she was and the activities that went on in the village under the cover of darkness."
"Jesus is Lord," Mrs Oyinmadu proclaimed, shaking at her and tapping her foot nervously.
Her husband sighed. "Wow . We have work to do but Ifeyinwa, are you ready to give your life to Jesus Christ, forsaking the pleasures of the world and the devil?"
Gabriel leaned close to her and whispered, "That means losing your powers too."
She paused and nodded, "Yes I am."
Now repeat after me, "I confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord, king and Saviour. I choose to wholly accept him into my heart and my life. I forsake all temptation and vices of the devil. I promise to walk in the path of righteous so help me God." Ifeyinwa repeated the prayer and looked around, "So what now?"
Mr Oyinmadu smiled, "Now you have accepted Jesus, you are saved. We will hold your baptism very soon."
"WRONG! NOW YOU DIE," a voice boomed outside the house.
Ifeyinwa stood up abruptly, shaking with fear, eyes wide open. "That’s my father."
